And so I tell my team, you know, go on, save yourselves. Go on without me. You know, start this thing, because I'm not going to make it. And you probably think maybe that's the end of the story, but you forgot that I'm Rachel Rodgers. I'm a diva. I don't quit easily. Okay? So, here's the action that I want you to take. Are you ready? You're going to be scared a little bit. But, I want you to be strong. Here's what I want you to do. I want you to double your prices. First off, no one is inherently good or bad with money. You aren’t born with an abacus attached to your hand or the natural ability to work a financial spreadsheet. Being “good with money” is an acquired skill. You can learn how to manage your money, make financial decisions, and take calculated risks.

The Growth Scale framework makes this membership relevant to business owners at all stages by placing you in one of seven levels depending on your starting point…anywhere from just starting out to to already owning a multi-million dollar business. Rachel Rodgers is the founder of Hello Seven, a multi-million dollar company that teaches women how to earn more money and build wealth.Move your body. Any way you want. Take a walk. Have a dance party. Attend a yoga class. Ride a bike. Whatever feels good to you. And if you're not able to physically move your body, do whatever else makes you happy. Talk to friends and family. Watch your favorite TV show. Read or listen to a good book. Sing at the top of your lungs to your favorite music. Anything that boosts your serotonin and gets those feel-good hormones flowing." The first part of this book is a story about her life, one which I found no interest in. We all have hard lives but this means nothing to how we become wealthy other than the motivational factor that we never want to be in a bind again where money is missing. And guess what? You're doing your clients a disservice. You cannot serve them as well as you would with a squad to help you. Okay? So, again, always evidence. I'm a lawyer, okay? I like proof. So, here's the proof. My guess is that you're going to find out that you've been leaving a lot of money on the table, because you think you're not enough. And I'm here to tell you, you are You're enough.

When one of my best sisterfriends introduced me to Rachel Rodgers years ago, I had no idea that a million dollar business was even possible for me. I couldn’t imagine telling someone that I charge five and ten thousand dollars to work with me. My nervous system is going into overdrive now just thinking about it. It’s not about how I perceive my worth or value. I’m really good at what I do and I get my clients results. It’s the idea that I could show up as myself and have that kind of money coming to me every month in less hours a week that I would have given any “good job” that’s out there, without the microaggressions, without being overworked, undervalued, underappreciated, and underpaid, without having to dim my light or play small, that is mindblowing to me. It was interesting when she broke down celebrities hired Staff. House, managers, private chefs, nannies, all amounted to about half million a year that they employ. We Should All Be Millionaires details a realistic, achievable, step-by-step path tocreating the support, confidence, and plan you need toown your success and become the millionaire the world needs you to be. There’s also too much bootstrap mentality in this. And again, I could forgive this if she didn’t specifically try to cater to all demographics by explicitly saying this is for everyone, including the generationally working class. It clangs and it drowns the really wonderful messages (you can control your dignity, you can control how you speak to yourself).

We Should All Be Millionaires details a realistic, achievable, step-by-step path to creating the support, confidence, and plan you need to own your success and become the millionaire the world needs you to be. I'm working on becoming a genius at money, and have thus far felt most comfortable getting financial information from women, because, hello. I don't know about you, but I grew up with essentially no financial literacy education and have no evidence that men are particularly interested in women getting better at this. And so I left the bank after talking to the branch manager. I got in my car. I had a really good cry, sobbed like a baby. And then I went home and I got to work. And here's what happened. An eye-opening history lesson on how women and people of color have been shut out of the ability to build wealth for centuries - and how we can fix this. Why most of the financial advice you've heard in the past (like "skip your daily latte to save money") is absolute, patriarchal nonsense.
