However, the SteelSeries performs better overall for this use as it has lower latency, and it has a unique feature that allows you to adjust the pre-travel distance on a per-key basis. I am not a fan of full-sized keyboards so I did most of my testing on the 65% board, though both keyboards are the same under the hood so what I say in this review regarding the performance, keycaps, and all of that goes for both versions. Thanks to the slightly reflective backplate and the transparent housing of the switches you really get an impressive light show.

By default, the polling rate, or how often your PC checks for input, is set to its maximum 1000Hz and input latency is 16ms. The keyboard stays in place perfectly thanks to the combination of the relatively heavy weight of it and the thick and textured rubber pads.The media keys, lighting settings, and profile settings are all accessible through hotkeys, which you can find in the user manual. But you can't really do that with this keyboard because everything is smushed together and very similar size. Glorious Gaming provides hardware and accessories designed for elite performance, premium quality, and affordability for all and has challenged the traditional PC gaming industry since its inception in 2014. Great quality keyboard with lots of customization options to make it feel/sound and look exactly how you want it. I’m torn between getting the GMMK Pro pre built which comes with fox switches which I think are supposed to be pretty good, or getting a GMMK 2 shell and some switches, I’ve read Panda switches are nice but not sure if they are good for gaming. The GLORIOUS GMMK and the GLORIOUS GMMK 2 are very similar mechanical keyboards that are designed to be customizable.

Additional legends have been printed on the front faces, denoting extra functionality on those keys. For now, these Fox switches are exclusive to the GMMK 2 though I of course don’t know what kind of plans Glorious has for the future.Glorious uses their signature orange accents and there’s some holographic features, but the packaging is concise and doesn’t necessarily need to be kept around.
