Please note that the above instructions are for making 1 litre of Virkon disinfectant solution and is to be used as a guide. Surface and Farm Equipment Disinfection

Use a dilution of 1:100 or 1.3 oz. Virkon™ S per gallon of clean water. Use a dilution of 1:50 or 2.6 oz. per gallon of clean water if surfaces that are to be treated have not been pre-cleaned with water to remove organic deposits. Place boot into the foot dip and scrub using a soft hand brush making sure that the whole boot is washed thoroughly with disinfectant solution and paying particular attention to the sole. Immerse all halters, ropes, and other types of equipment used in handling and restraining animals, as well as forks, shovels, and scrapers used for removing litter and manure. Solution can be applied to surfaces using a spray bottle, sponge, mop etc. Any items that need disinfecting (not medical devices) can be submerged in Virkon solution and rinsed afterwards.

Virkon S Disinfectant Tablets

Surface disinfection: Routine disinfection for all surfaces, earth, wood, and concrete. Use a 1:100 dilution (10g of Virkon S for every litre of water). Apply via a pressure washer or other mechanical sprayer. Apply Virkon S solution at an application rate of 300ml/m2.
