Whether she makes you laugh or cry, or whether the series is about a cupid or a gold-touched woman living in King Midas's gilded castle, she hopes to create characters that readers can root for. Because my wings may have been clipped, but I am not in a cage, and I'm finally free to fly from the frozen kingdoms I've been kept in. Every book just gets better and better and while I’m nowhere near close to being ready for it to end I cannot wait to see what is sure to be one heck of an explosive ending. What I was NOT prepared for was being emotionally ravaged by the childhood and past of King Ravinger himself.

The spice is OFF the charts, we gain far more POV chapters (some of which are VERY exciting), we get WAY more Wrath interaction, we get a new budding couple who I absolutely adore, we finally connect the dots to all of the questions we have about Auren’s past after her time with Zakir, we get the true fleshing out of a relationship between Auren and Slade, we get 110% more brother content between Slade and Fake Rip (his brother, Ryatt), we get 210% more emotions, we travel to the very ends of Orea (literally), and encounter far more…interesting characters, there is just SO much MORE in this book. If there’s something you crave, if there’s some freedom you want to try the taste of, then you will do it, and I will be right there with you. THE BRAND NEW BOOK IN THE TIKTOK FANTASY SENSATION THAT'S SOLD OVER HALF A MILLION COPIES, PERFECT FOR FANS OF SARAH J. I’m invested in this series, but I haven’t read a lot of fantasy romance or been in the mood to read fantasy romance for a while.I’m now in a strange kingdom surrounded by liars, with no allies of my own, but I won’t sit idly by and let myself wither. Now my problem with the Spice is the way it is used towards the end of the book as a catalyst for the big events to finally start taking place.

I just finished the latest book in the Plated Prisoner series so it’s time to do a Glow book review. I have to say I am upset right now, only because there is a cliffhanger in this book that devastated me and now I have to wait a year before I can find out what happens. So I will fight for him and he will kill for me, and if we need to become the villains, then so be it. And the way in which her chapters so abruptly come to an end makes it feel like Kaila was an ultimately forgotten, afterthought. There's not even an inkling of this thought from any one in the entire book, no talk of "wife" or "queen" at all. There are deep connections with abuse and mental health themes, please check trigger warnings if that is something you may need.

Another fantastic book and what an ending setting things up for what I am sure will be an exciting finale! I get everything done as soon as I can,so in my downtime I finally get to sit in my outside lounge room and read this series, for the second time! But if you truly love AURIP, have wanted to know every last detail about these chars and honestly just crave basking in the moments of their glory, then this book is immensely satisfying. In the process they are spreading vicious rumors about Auren swaying the public opinion in their favor. Please note: This is an adult fantasy series with dark elements that may be triggering, including past emotional and physical trauma, violence, adult language, and explicit romance. i admire her resilience because now that she has had a taste of freedom she will never go back, no matter how hard she must work to get there.I get that Auren has always needed to hide her powers, but one would think the Conflux (Trial) would at least be an opportunity for her to finally tell her story to the world. So I think that’s important to remember as you’re going through this book, especially if you feel it’s beginning to get slightly long winded. Additionally, Digby is taking his role as Aurens guard very seriously and it really warms the heart. The end is a massive cliffhanger, a part of me is glad to be late to the party with this book, now I don’t have to wait too long for the sequel . The character development is so fantastic and you get so drawn into your favorite characters and how they change.
