Today, 200 years later, Masi is still known for producing some of the scintillating and popular wines like Amarone and others that speak volumes about the rich Venetian heritage. According to tradition, in 807 King Pipino offered the San Zeno monastery of Verona a church in Bardolino ( San Zeno) with its plots of land. Other versions of Bardolino include a Superiore, which has at least 1 extra percent of alcohol and must be aged at least a year before being released, a rosé, known as Bardolino Chiaretto, a lightly sparkling frizzante, and a novello.

When drunk young, a dry Bardolino is a lively pleasure that can be enjoyed every season of the year. Bardolino wine is made from the Corvina, Veronese and Rondinella grape varieties and develops a bouquet with notes of cherry, sour cherry, strawberry, raspberry and black currant. This label was established with the main aim to produce everyday wines that were a blend of style, tradition, elegance and international winemaking techniques.
