A good article in Runners World and another one in Cosmopolitan magazine would pretty much say everything they have to say. A poor condition book can still make a good reading copy but is generally not collectible unless the item is very scarce. It’s nice to see Joan and other women taking charge of their health and not accepting decline as normal aging. These features include: - 40+ exercises for stretching, strength training, cardio, post-workout, and more - Fitness routines to help you get the most out of all the exercises - 40+ recipes for proteins, vegetables, starches, sweets, and more - Meal plans to help you prepare the best meals for your caloric needs - Mindset, motivational, and aspirational guidance from Joan Change is intimidating, but with help from Train With Joan on your journey, you'll learn what you're capable of-and how to enrich yourself no matter at what stage in life you are. Oddly, it’s written in the third person; they are discussed and referenced and quoted, as if this were a magazine article about them.

I suspect the omission of any exercises and workout routines is intentional so that people will purchase the app, but I tried the app earlier this year and found it glitchy and tedious to use.The basic information on nutrition and exercise is good if you are new to those important topics, but there was absolutely no new information for me. She also started coaching women who wanted to have a major lifestyle change, working with them in what she terms “transformation groups. Unfortunately, the book touches on various topics but doesn't really explore them in depth or give many helpful details.

Joan knew that if she continued on an unhealthy path that it might mean more health issues and more medicationsand probably force her to move into a nursing home. This was fixed a couple of hours later by changing the game name to "Flex Your Account rAge", then changed again a couple of days later to "Flex Your Account ᵣAge" to avoid filtering.Together, we are going to follow Joan’s lead, inspire and encourage each other, and give each other a loving kick in the ass when needed, followed by a loving hug. Let people see something other then “sorry come back later” that wouldn’t make people want to work more. Wish I could give it more stars because it was interesting as it stands but it wasnt the book I was hoping for. The book includes motivation techniques, fitness and nutrition fundamentals, and tips on how to “find and contribute to a community of support. The bright background of the flex app is very hard on the eyes while driving and delivering after dark.

Change is intimidating, but this book will help you learn what you're capable of-and how to enrich yourself no matter at what stage in life you are. She was on medication for high blood pressure and acid reflux; she had terrible edema in her ankles; her arthritis was extremely painful; and she had difficulty walking up and down stairs.

It was interesting to read about Joan's early life in Canada, her marriage, her career, and her journey to fitness.
