As I am coming to the end of the first bottle I can safely say it is one of the best QD out there. It adds great gloss and as it contains Si02 it adds some protection to the paintwork and helps to maintain your coating ( if you have a ceramic coating applied )Ceramic Detailer adds effortless gloss and shine to painted body panels. It can be used on almost every exterior surface of your vehicle including paint, metal trim, plastic trim and wheels. Firstly it will add extra lubricity as you dry the paintwork. This helps to minimise swirls and light, micro-marring induced from towel drying. Secondly, it will add some ceramic protection as well as reducing the chances of water spots being left behind. BSD can be used as a drying aid or standalone detailer/protection. Given the constancy of the product, I wouldn’t recommend it as a clay lubricant. These products are awesome when used in conjunction with a “real” ceramic coating, and can make maintenance of your paintworks finish a breeze. As we already know these QD products contain lubricants that will allow a towel to glide over the paint, helping to prevent marring, and it also breaks down water beads to make them easier to soak up and less likely to leave water spots.You can use Gyeon WetCoat as a drying aid. Following our ‘How-To’ application guide above, apply WetCoat after your regular wash routine. It will repel water, leave gloss and help to dry your vehicle faster as there will be less water on the paintwork to towel off. We always advise working one panel at a time, misting two or three sprays onto a clean, damp microfiber towel or spraying directly onto a cool, clean body panel. Spread the product evenly over the panel with the damp microfiber, then flip the towel to a dry side, or use a fresh towel, then buff to remove excess product. It’s that simple! The trigger sprays are high quality, offering ‘spray/stream’ and ‘off’ settings. They offer a good draw, consistent spray output and very little ‘spitting’ at the start and finish of the trigger spray cycle. Given that the product instructions say “you may apply another layer for improved durability”, “Mohs Evo can be topped with CanCoat 1 hour after being coated”, and “Use Cure as a maintenance product during your wash routine”, which is an SiO2 product replaced by CD, yes, I want to follow the manufacturers application and maintenance recommendations. Considering its ease of use and overall performance, we rank the Gyeon Wet Coat product very highly. It’s been a consistent performer on our own vehicles and there’s always a bottle on the shelf in our workshop.
