Small rapid vibrations. This is a hard one! I have a feeling that it was more obvious when the scope was on concrete than when on grass. The soil probably acts like those anti vibration pads that one can buy. I will try some experiments and see if I can find a way of damping them. It is not too much of a problem. All my other scopes are quite heavy for their size and I have not seen this "rapid, small vibration shimmer" before.
