She's doing some strange things, saying things that are even stranger, and no one else seems to suspect anything. I wanted to have fun with this, but the poor writing, horrible characters, and boring story line really hindered my overall enjoyment of this book. Yes, it feels spoofy at times and has its own sense of humour, but overall it's a really wonderfully touching book.
