Flight 715 – A girl has a nightmare, in which she foresees that the airliner which is about to fly her family home from a vacation in Vancouver is destined to crash. Big corporate companies using unethical practices is somewhat common which gives a little bit of realism to the story. I really liked this book because it has a variaty of horror stories and makes me want to read more . Out of the nine stories, two ( Light Moves and The Man with the Yellow Face) are conveyed from the viewpoint of the leading character. In this case, my first impression was fairly accurate: the book is a collection of horror stories, albeit none too horrible since the target audience is a younger once.

I have always felt that it takes a huge potential to choose the right sentences to begin and end a story. The Monkeys Ear is a simplistic story of a defective Aladdin’s lamp possessed by morally defective parents. These stories at the same time, were coldly-humoured, chilling and sort of freaky in a way and simply great quick reads. Timothy's aunt, who no longer loves her husband, has replaced the sun tan lotion with cooking oil, burning her husband's skin. If you are an adult, then sit back and enjoy a quick ride through stories that might have given you a chill if you read this as a kid.

What if a certain camera has been imbued with dark magic and anything the camera photographs gets destroyed. It introduces a detective by the name of Daniel Hawthorne - a rather dark and dangerous man whom I actually met on the set of Injustice.

The stories themselves, though, are competent, entertaining and reminiscent of Roald Dahl's Tales of the Unexpected. Upon arrival she is turned over to the head chef, who is an Asian man (suggested to be Japanese) who is described as having “pale orange skin and slanting eyes” and “a strong oriental accent”, which the author then tops off later by using the J-slur. If that weren't enough, the penultimate story, 'Twist Cottage', features an old thatched cottage that has tiles falling off the roof! Mi favorito es el primero, creo que abre muy bien con ese primer cuento “La cámara asesina” además que tiene un final que me encantó. Imagine for a moment a ten or eleven year old kid who has not had any exposure to reading other than Enid Blyton and Hardy Boys trying his hand at an unabridged version of Dracula.

But here I am, writing a book in which I have no idea what's going on, following in the footsteps of a character who refuses to tell me anything. As the Brendan family use the monkeys ear for their wishes they start to get hairier and more animalistic. Horowitz Horror and More Horowitz Horror are two collections of short horror stories written by Anthony Horowitz, published in 1999 and 2000 respectively. The ending is Matthew’s diary entry anxiously detailing him waiting for what terrible fate will befall him.Bath night 2/5- Anthony uses effective imagery techniques to make the bath and Isabella’s visions horrifying and frightening. My favourite story was about brother who went to a halloween party but the person who was ment to bring them home left without them so they get the night bus but the bus was very weird because it was in a coin of the olden days and everything was old when people started to get in they were like zombies but cause its halloween they dont care until they dont let them get out so they have to simp out of a bus .
