Description

The more Netgear hardware you have, the cheaper per device it is, but unless you intend to extensively use this level of management, it is something that you can do without once you are up and running.

Where this hardware has the edge over the larger and more expensive Netgear Orbi Pro WiFi 6 (SXK80) is in its smaller scale. Where single point connection speed is paramount, then the SXK30 probably isn’t the best choice, but then it could easily be argued that wireless networking overall isn’t ideal for this job. With just the RBR850 router set up, it moved 883.6Mbps to the receiving device 15-feet away. While this is off the pace set by high-performance routers, like the Netgear Nighthawk AX8 (RAX80) (at 1.389Gbps), it easily beat out other mesh kits, like the TP-Link Deco X20 (at 622.1Mbps) and the Arris SURFboard mAX Pro (at 820.3Mbps). They are two identical-looking units, but one is the router (model SXR30), and the other is the Satellite (SXS30). Without the label on the router, you can't tell them apart from the front. wlan: [7818:I:ANY] ol_ath_enable_fraglist: 3010: Enabled Fraglist bit for the radio wifi1 features 41cpr4_ipq807x_apss_calculate_target_quotients: apc_corner: fused SVS: quot[ 7]= 720, quot_offset[ 7]= 0 In testing with a WiFi 6 capable client speeds of over 800Mbps were possible near the router and even with older clients, the performance was outstanding even at 50ft or further away.

Two Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, Link Aggregation Mode4 optional. Two Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports The two share the same Insight mobile app with the "cloud-managed" approach in management via the Insight mobile app. In a nutshell, you need to link the system to a Netgear account and then manage your network via a remote server.ipq807x-pinctrl 1000000.pinctrl: pin GPIO_26 already requested by soc:sound@0; cannot claim for soc:leds Instead, I decided to opt out of this option and stayed with the web interface. And so should you. Excellent web user interface and feature set Just a heads up the SXR80 and SXS80 only support Balanced XOR aggregation. That feature was added some time ago via firmware update. I do not know if it is possible to add the more advanced port aggregation capabilities via firmware. wlan: [9330:I:ANY] wlan_cfg80211_set_wiphy_params: 1974: WARNING: Fragmentation with HT mode NOT ALLOWED!!

No, the app wasn't bad -- it's similar to the Orbi app but with more functionality and features.
