It is another substantial factor that contributes to the majority of the novel, with Suze, her best friend who supports her as much as possible even though Becky has a lot of problems. Things are looking cheerier than ever, until Becky’s parents announce they’re moving to ultra-trendy Shoreditch—unable to resist the draw of craft beer and smashed avocados—and ask Becky if she’ll host this year. Kinsella delivers a solid and laugh-out-loud funny installment that longtime readers and new fans alike will gleefully devour.

I saw so much of myself in the main characters spending personality that it just made me laugh all the way thru reading it. I must confess that I was expecting more similarities, the book took a different direction, many situations changed. best friends, copious amounts of champagne drinking and a fantastic ending that will leave you smiling.Half way into the book I felt really sad because I know that there is so many people who this is their reality. In fact, it took so long to drive this to an interesting point, I nearly lost interest (which, considering how short this book is, says a lot). Rebecca é viciada em compras, arranja estratagemas para fugir aos credores, não toma atenção a nada, muito sinceramente não sei como ela se consegue safar no trabalho.

However, she really grows up in 300 pages and even though she still has her flaws, I really began to respect her and want to continue on with the series. They mean they applied for jobs at The Times and The Express and Marie-Claire and Vogue and GQ, and all they got back was “Piss off. Millions of readers have come to adore New York Times best-selling author Sophie Kinsella’s irrepressible heroine. I had known about the title of this novel since I was in the third semester, for about one and a half years ago when my lecturer asked me to read my favourite book.

If there is a discount, my eyes immediately focused on the discount and bought goods even though at home there are items like that. I think it's hilarious that these books dominate the "chick-lit" scene when they are, in fact, the most sexist books I've managed to come across. Finally, I want to say that Sophie Kinsella's writing style is truly brilliant; the image provided is excellent and innovative with such humour. moment for her, and no growth or anything in her character, and that somewhere down the line she marries The Guy, I decided to stop reading for good.

But when costs start to spiral out of control, she must decide whether to accept help from an unexpected source—and therefore run the risk of hurting the person she loves. And lately Becky's been chased by dismal letters from the bank –letters with large red sums she can't bear to read–and they're getting ever harder to ignore. Despite having seen the film (I don't like to read after seeing it, I prefer to read it first and then see the film), but nothing had prepared me for this. But as the countdown to Christmas begins and her bighearted plans take an unexpected turn toward disaster, Becky wonders if chaos will ensue, or if she’ll manage to bring comfort and joy to Christmas after all. I stare at the statement in puzzlement, wrinkling my brow and trying to think – and then suddenly, the truth dawns on me. Full of Becky’s outrageous ideas, including a heist à la Ocean’s Eleven, this novel does not disappoint.
