While there *is* a smidge of insta-love (which I’m not a fan of 99% of the time), Lynn does a phenomenal job of keeping the story fairly fast-paced and intriguing, and has a refreshing take on the “chosen one” trope. The characters themselves are kept few, distinct, and fleshed out in a way that draws you in and makes it easy for the reader to get past those tropes (if they bother you, like they sometimes do me). We got a lot more context towards the end of this about the nature of the curse, and some more history. We still don't know why or how La Dame is still alive and how she has managed to live as long as she has. Nor are we even sure how long she has been around. It seems like forever. She seems like a turd that just won't flush but without the why. I am hoping that we get more in the next installment. Ancient Tribute Sails • Ancient Vault Sails • Gold Hoarder Figurehead • Gold Hoarders Cannons • Gold Hoarders Capstan • Gold Hoarders Emissary Flag • Gold Hoarders Figurehead • Gold Hoarders Flag • Gold Hoarders Hull • Gold Hoarders Inaugural Captain Sails • Gold Hoarders Inaugural Marauder Sails • Gold Hoarders Sails • Gold Hoarders Wheel

I think you're overestimating the amount of time required. I got my gold curse after probably 48(EDIT: maybe closer to 60) hours of gameplay, albeit spread out over nearly a year. Certain things make tales easier: bosses like Briggsy and Graymarrow have much less health if you're using a sloop or brigantine, some tales are easy to grind out because they take place at only a few locations (like "Fate of the Morningstar"), and you can do other voyages simultaneously. Solution (X1). (1-A)-(2-C)-(1-C)-(3-A)-(1-B)-(2-A)-(1-A)-(4-C)-(1-C)-(2-B)-(1-B)-(3-C)-(1-A)-(2-C)-(1-C)-(5-A)-(1-B)-(2-A)-(1-A)-(3-B)-(1-C)-(2-B)-(1-B)-(4-A). It was disconcerting and prevented me from sinking into this world - I felt constantly yo-yo'ed from place to place because of the way the medieval and modern bits warred with each other. Place the xylophone hammers and the sheet music > puzzle solution > 7 – 4 – 2 – 5 – 1 – 3 – 6 – 4 > Walk forward Hidden-object puzzles are referred to as HOPs. This guide does not show screenshots of the HOPs, however, it is mentioned when a HOP is available and the inventory item collected.Like before, I’ll give you the directions in chunks — but heads up, the chunks are going to get longer as we go. Midas was a king of great fortune who ruled the country of Phrygia, in Asia Minor. He had everything a king could wish for. He lived in luxury in a great castle. He shared his life of abundance with his beautiful daughter. Even though he was very rich, Midas thought that his greatest happiness was provided by gold. His avarice was such that he used to spend his days counting his golden coins! Occasionally he used to cover his body with gold objects, as if he wanted to bath in them. Money was his obsession.

Solution (X2-X3). (1-A)-(2-C)-(1-C)-(3-A)-(1-B)-(2-A)-(1-A)-(6-C)-(1-C)-(2-B)-(1-B)-(3-C)-(1-A)-(2-C)-(1-C)-(4-B)-(1-B)-(2-A)-(1-A)-(4-B)-(1-C)-(2-B)-(1-B)-(5-C)-(1-A)-(2-C)-(1-C)-(3-A)-(1-B)-(2-A)-(1-A)-(4-C)-(1-C)-(2-B)-(1-B)-(3-C)-(1-A)-(2-C)-(1-C). Gold Hoarders Blunderbuss • Gold Hoarders Cutlass • Gold Hoarders Eye of Reach • Gold Hoarders Pistol The story is about how Etta and Alex will choose the path their going to make not just for themselves but also for the Kingdom they both reign over. Etta was a fairly annoying main character in my opinion. She kept doing things she shouldn't have done (for her life's sake, and for that of everyone surrounding her tbh), and the only time I found myself rooting for someone was when Alex (main character #2) found some balls and made a nice statement about same sex relationships. That's it. The rest was pretty forgettable.Alex is going to be King one day, he knows this. He hates swords, doesn't like fighting - not because he's a wimp but because he prefers to draw & use a bow and arrow!! Close combat is gruesome so when his Father announces a Tournament to find his new Protector then adds it will be 'To the Death' he's horrified. Even more so when he meets a beautiful girl beforehand then discovers she's is fighting in it because so is his best friend, Edmund, and there can be only one winner!!!😳😳
