Reversed, the Priestess may symbolize secrets, being disconnected from intuition, and withdrawal. Makoto does prove a great strategist and planner, and thus an asset to the Phantom Thieves. She is very intelligent and helps the Phantom Thieves with her organizing ability. At the same time, she starts off disconnected from herself and her true inner greatness, so that could count as being disconnected from intuition, as she follows her head more than her heart. She also starts off somewhat secretive and suspicious, following the Phantom Thieves around and spying on them.

The Arcanas in Persona

In the events of the third semester the protagonist instead gets the World Arcana from Igor and Lavenza as a farewell gift after defeating Takuto Maruki. Starting from Persona 3, each Arcana has a related Social Link or Confidant, usually with a "story arc" related to an individual that represents the Arcana it's related to, with the exception of the World Arcana, which is rarely seen in gameplay and does not have a related Confidant, as it is to symbolize the end of the protagonist's journey. Each Persona user also has an Arcana they are related to as well, usually defined by their first Persona. In Persona and Persona 2, Strength and Justice Arcana are VIII and XI respectively, this is swapped in Persona 3 and subsequent installments. As I discussed earlier in the What Is Arcana section of this guide, the Magician Arcana is often in the possession of the Protagonist’s male bestie. It’s also linked to confidence and taking action, so the characters associated with it are outgoing and loud, which obviously match Morgana and Yosuke’s personalities.
