A: Hmmm, if I tell you the secret story behind THE SECRET SERIES can we keep it just between us...? Very well. the characters was good, I like Max-Ernest constant talking or trying to tell jokes, being helpful, Cass & her stubbornness & Owen & his mystery. The characters are relatable since they are your typical boy and girl 12 years old but at the same time not typical. Since they have some unique qualities in them that are essential to the advancement of the story. Max Earnest and Cass will entertain you with their thought-process. Essays — PB/RS". The Name of This Book Is Secret is the first book in the Secret Series. It is based on smell, and the "artifact" in it is the Symphony of Smells. The Name of this Book is Secret is a 2007 fantasy novel for young readers by Pseudonymous Bosch. It chronicles the adventures of two children, Cass and Max-Ernest, as they investigate the mysterious death of local magician Pietro Bergamo. The book, like the others in the series, is known for its intrusive narration, in which Bosch briefly interrupts the story for various reasons. Favourite part: I like the story of Pietro and his twin as it reveals a lot secrets about the characters and what the secret is about. Also it is makes loads of questions in your head and making you want to read on.

Did we miss something on diversity?

Gloria Fortune is a probate specialist or a "real estate agent for the dead." She often finds herself at the Fire Sale delivering items after clearing out homes belonging to the deceased. She loves to gossip and runs into Cass at the Midnight Sun Spa and Sensorium; however, she later has no recollection of her visit to the spa. After Cass and Max-Ernest reconcile, Dr. L appears and once again tries to force the duo to tell them what they know about the Secret. Dr. L gets visibly agitated when both Cass and Max-Ernest insist that they do not know anything pertaining to the Secret, which made Cass curious about something in particular. After testing her theory, Cass and Max-Ernest finally figured out who Dr. L really is: Luciano Bergamo, Pietro's missing twin brother.

On May 14, 2019, Bosch published The Unbelievable Oliver and the Four Jokers, with illustrations by Shane Pangburn. The book is about an eight year-old boy who longs to be a professional magician. A: I nearly drowned in a jar when I was a baby. In fact, I probably shouldn't be revealing this now, but the sordid tale of my brush with death-by-condiment will appear in my fourth book. Owen is introduced as Cass's putler when she is taken to the Midnight Sun. When they first meet, he has a strong stutter and appears to be shy but friendly. However, he is revealed to be a spy for the Terces society who helps Cass and Max-Ernest escape the Midnight Sun with Benjamin Blake. Owen's most notable characteristic is his predilection for disguises, for which he can drastically alter his appearance and speaking voice. While being guided to her luxurious suite, Cass spots Gloria, looking younger and slimmer, lounging out at the pool. Gloria is unaware of what is actually going on, and is too busy enjoying her stay. Cass then meets Owen, a stammering attendant who sets up her room and tries to cater to her every need. Cass finds Owen the most appealing out of all those at the spa. The other main character is Max-Ernest who is her collaborator in their adventure. He is extremely talkative and always tells jokes. His parents always argued even over his name so that is why he ended up with two names. Lastly, the only other main character were Mrs. Mauvais and Dr. L. They are very old, however, they look young. Also they are constantly searching for people with a disease that confuses the senses, as they think this will tell them the answer to the secret they are searching for. They own a spa which is all about refining the senses. The way author tells the story is also funny. Throughout the book he uses as "fun tone" and always leaves some side comments here and there about the main characters. Also you will find that there are some kind of footnotes and appendix the helps the story and provides additional information towards some topics.
