Bamboo wood is fairly unique in that it has the look of tree wood but is actually made from a grass. As such it does not warp or shrink when the humidity of the surroundings change. This is a great table for socialising for it can seat up to 8 people due to the hexagonal shape, with an independent height adjustment of each of the three legs. Folded dimensions are perfectly manageable at around 1m x 0.6m x 0.2m, and putting the table up is child’s play. The shape of this table makes it ideal for bell tents or tepee tents.

The bamboo sections fit together really well with very minimal grooves in between them. This is a massive difference to some of the aluminium options we recommend below which tend to have bigger gaps. With the Navaris it is very easy to brush out crumbs and other wayward bits of stray food! Our first ‘luxury’ choice is the Navaris Bamboo which is a gorgeous camping table using premium, sustainable bamboo wood as the folding top section. The four aluminium legs are foldable and an excellent design. They are each independently height adjustable and have very wide ‘feet’ which means they will not sink into soft ground. The legs allow the table height to be adjusted from 54cm up to 71.5cm. When folded away, they barely take up much space. But it’s the bamboo which is the star of the show here. It provides a highly stable surface with a real quality feel. Please bear in mind though that this is more of a side table and is probably not large enough to eat around unless there’s just a couple of you.

It uses a folding bamboo table top which is 90cm in diameter when set up. Underneath are four legs which are height-adjustable to three different settings – 40cm, 58cm and 70cm.
