Well, we have already shared the magic of the Flipshots blasters with the Flip-32, and you’ll be pleased to know that the Flip-16 features the same innovative “Flip” technology, turning a simple 8-shot, front-loaded blaster into a concealed 16-dart powerhouse! Let’s start by looking at the main features of the Elite 2.0 Commander and then both the good and bad of each one. One of the best things about this blaster is its ability to be customized. It comes with a detachable scope, barrel, and 3 tactical rails, allowing you to create different blaster styles for any situation. This is perfect for players who want to switch up their strategy and take advantage of different situations. If you want to get weird with lots of stuff on your gun, that is great, but more attachments are not always better with this blaster. A large scope on top will interfere with the priming, and a large barrel with reduce the FPS. Those who love dressing their dart guns up like barbie dolls, with attachments, of course, will love this.

In this guide, we will dig a bit deeper into the Nerf Elite 2.0 Commander to help you identify its key features and learn specifics about its pros and cons. The Airblitz action is fun to use. Load up to 6 darts in the Airblitz barrel and prime the air tank by pumping the priming mechanism located at the bottom of the blaster. Once your tank is primed, there is a button on the side of the gun that releases 6 Elite darts at once—perfect for sending a message to your opponents or taking down multiple rivals with one shot. The bottom line is that it is a very affordable blaster with some great upgrade options. Otherwise, it is average in most categories. The Flipshots sub-series features blasters that have a "flipping" mechanic that allows the user to switch between two sets of barrels of darts.Featured in our list of best Nerf guns, this blaster comes highly recommended, but is it right for you? The NERF Elite 2.0 Motoblitz is a game-changer in NERF blaster technology. This powerful blaster offers two modes of play: the air-pressurized “Airblitz” action and the motorized semi-automatic firing. I think it is a solid gun that will hold up unless you are overly rough with it. Fun and Value: 9/10 Three tactical rails for attachments; One on top of the barrel, one below it, and another under the handle.

As far as durability goes, there is nothing that feels super flimsy on it. The only thing I worry about breaking is the slide, but mine has held up just fine. WARNING: Do not aim at eyes or face. Use of eyewear recommended for players and people within range. Use only official Nerf darts. Other darts may not meet safety standards. Do not modify darts or blaster. AccuStrike Series • BattleCamo Series • Curve Shot • Dude Perfect • Edge Series • Flipshots • GelFire • Ghost Ops • ICON Series • Laser Ops Classic • Micro Shots • Monster Hunters • Retro • Survival System • Vortex VTX • Wild Edition Overall I would recommend this blaster to anyone because it works great out of the box and won’t disappoint for the price.

Its name, “Commander,” implies the ability to adapt and demand respect in a Nerf battle, as it does. Interestingly, despite being a follow-up to N-Strike Elite, the word "N-Strike" is not present in Elite 2.0's name. Inside 25 feet, the Commander does its job, but I would definitely say it’s average in this department. FPS and Range: 7.5/10 While firing the blaster at a normal angle, I measured an average range of 45-55 feet. When firing angled upwards, I got an average of 65-75 feet. The farthest dart went to 85 feet, which is still below the advertised 90. Reliability and Durability 8.5/10 The Commander averaged 76fps in my testing, with the included darts (enough to fire the blaster twice through!). Accuracy with Elite darts varies, but it is what it is. Rate of fire can easily reach four darts per second in fast hands, if slamfire is used. Of course, keep that for emergencies, as you only have six shots before you’re out.

Customers have been impressed with the looks of this nerf gun, whether they’re Halo fans are not, and particularly love the power and performance of the Nerf Halo MA40 dart blaster. The cons of the extra design are that it is a bit big for a pistol, making it too large to holster or conceal. Without attachments, it is also too small to be a primary. That being said, the Commander is comfortable to hold and use. Ammo and Loading: 7.8/10 Overall its value is hard to beat, but it would be a bit more fun if it came with at least one attachment. Final Verdict When we first saw the NERF Elite 2.0 Flipshots Flip-32, it blew our minds (not literally, we’re okay). It feels like Hasbro threw the rulebook out the window when conceiving the Flipshots sub-series of Elite 2.0. The Elite 2.0 Motoblitz comes with a total of 22 NERF Elite foam darts, more than enough to fill your clip and the Airblitz barrel. Additionally, the blaster features an integrated tactical scope, which is perfect for aiming and taking out targets from a distance, and three tactical rails—one at the top and one on each side of the blaster—for plenty of customization options. The amount of options for upgrades and customization is what sets this apart from similar blasters. While the Spectre Rev-5 can compare, it will likely be found at twice the price. Something like the Disruptor has a close price resemblance but has no extra options at all. After putting many a round through this gun it is about average with its accuracy. The accuracy starts to fade outside 25 feet. The Motoblitz is also a fully-fledged semi-automatic blaster. Load the included 10-dart clip, hold down the priming button under the trigger to activate the motor, and you’re ready to go! The combination of semi-auto firing and Airblitz technology makes this blaster truly fearsome.

My Commander has seen some use and only will give you trouble when using bent or highly worn darts. Like the rest of the Elite 2.0 line, the Commander has a very industrial look to it. Yes, it’s plastic, but it also has a stamped metal vibe to it. The Commander includes twelve darts that have a bit of a different color design than the standard. Six are teal with orange tips, and the other six are orange with teal tips. This isn’t a huge deal, but using the different varieties can help your find your specific Nerf darts once the smoke of a battle clears.Alpha Strike • Assembler Gear • DinoSquad • Doomlands 2169 • DragonPower • Elite 2.0 • Elite Jr. • GlowStrike • Hyper • Laser Ops • Mech Strike • Mega • Mega XL • Nerf LMTD • Nerf Pro • Nerf Sports • Nitro • N-Strike • N-Strike Elite • N-Strike Modulus • Power Moves • RIVAL • ULTRA • Vortex • Web Shots • Zombie Strike The Commander serves as the replacement for the Strongarm/Disruptor, and while other blasters can get better performance for less money – a Nerf fan who buys one probably won’t be disappointed.
