I also looks promising as a cooperative game for up to 5 people - or even 6, if one of them acts as DM, which could give opportunities for more roleplay than is present in the base game. There were traps that we encountered, monsters that we had to kill, and the game was very engaging and challenging. If you have positioned yourself at the edge of a tile, you can now choose to draw a tile and slap it down to expand the map. However I think this is pretty unfair: the designers have clearly worked hard to try and differentiate the monsters as much as possible from each other and you can really see this in the AI routines printed on each monster card that governs how they behave.

Some mention that it's easy to learn and fairly quick to set up, while others say that it can be difficult at times, and the different quests demand different strategies. A quick note here to let visitors know that I’m still *slowly* working my way through the blog, un-Photobucketing the various posts.I thought that the dungeon crawling experience went well, and I enjoyed the cooperative nature of the game.

One thing I haven't mentioned yet is that each character can pick four or five powers unique to them, and while suggested combinations are offered, there's actually about twice as many to choose from, providing lots of opportunity for exploring different approaches to different scenarios. It plays essentially the exact same way the 2nd time through because all of the monsters are the same until you get to whatever the final monster or challenge is (this part does vary based on scenario). Of course you could always swap out your own mini's to represent your hero, but it'd be nice if you got some beautiful new figs in your CRBG. The basic items in the treasure deck are supplemented by more powerful scenario specific items and by one-shot fortunes and blessings. A highly cooperative, highly lethal game that is way more fun and way less predictable than other board games. It would certainly help you to feel that you’d found a cool item to see it pictured instead of just a line of text telling you that it gives you +1 to attack rolls.

Lo que menos me ha gustado es que esté en ingles, pero es un inconveniente menor, porque como he comentado con la app del móvil o la tablet, se puede traducir sin ninguna dificultad si flojeas en inglés. As the game progresses, like any Dungeons and Dragons campaign you can level up and gain more powers. For starters there’s no guide as to how tough the various scenarios in the game are, and I can assure you that some are considerably more difficult than others. The game is so exciting, drawing you in that I found it very easy to just forget all the help I could have given myself.

There’s nothing mold-breaking involved here, just a real sense that people worked hard to do as much as the could with relatively little. There is no "basic attack" - but you have two at-wills so you can usually attack in some way if you want. Because of the monochromatic heroes and monsters, and the fairly repetitive-looking dungeon tiles, it's only a 4 in Style. But really, to suggest a game that has such great miniatures as this one does as “bland” is just silly. It’s unclear, for example, whether dungeon squares containing furniture like coffins or laboratory equipment are valid for movement or not.
