My career busy friend is a few days behind because things came up and she just did not have the time on those days to do the practice. In 2020 the Hollywood movie adaptation of The Secret was released. Katie Holmes and Josh Lucas star in The Secret: Dare To Dream, directed by Andy Tennant (Hitch, Sweet Home Alabama). The author Rhonda Byrne is a true alchemist herself and this book is for sure her initiative to turn each of the thirsty soul to a chemist's themselves. Amazingly, after two weeks I mentioned to both friends that I loved it so much, I was thinking I would start all over again when I was done. BOTH agreed and told me they, too, had already had that exact same thought.

It's important not to take the book too seriously or too casually. I followed the practices, having fun while also ensuring that I completed them on a daily basis. It's a step-by-step kinda self-help book. If you wish to bring gratitude into your life, I would recommend you to read this book. You only need to devote 15 to 20 minutes per day. It's possible that you'll find it repetitive, but that's the point. But then, "we become what we repeatedly do/think about". Write on a card in bold letters- ‘The Gift of Health is Keeping me Alive’. Put it where you will see it often. Read slowly, one word at a time- many times & feel grateful- Min 4 timesKing David spoke of giving thanks to the whole world, for everything between the heavens and the Earth.

Choose one difficult/ problem relationship to improve. The person may or may not be with you, or in your life. List down as many things as possible for you to be grateful to the other person. Even if there is none, think of some good qualities.

This might not sound like much of a revelation to start with but evidence shows that the more we practice gratitude and give thanks on a daily basis, the more abundance will begin to flow to us. As well as the well known metaphysical facts about energy, she bases her opinion on the evidence of her own life and many others who have transformed theirs since discovering the Law of Attraction. You know what they say about making plans in your life? The God of my understanding had something else in mind. I wrote above that I was going to do The Magic a second time only do it differently. That didn't happen. I told a few people about it while I waited for the other two women to finish with their first cycle. Well, I told enough people that I had a group of 12, across the USA, all starting on the same day. I put a distribution list together and we all share, only if you want to, what magical things are occurring in our lives. As that cycle progressed, I was brought more people to tell and now, there is a group of 27 of us, all across the USA, who are doing the practices. Also, then, finally I could understand that mysterious dictum in the Bible that says that one who has will be given more, and one who has not, will be taken the little rest he has! That sentence revolted me when I first learnt about it in the religion class in high school! But in the explanation of Rhonda Byrne it makes total sense. That ‘thing’ one has or one has not, in this sentence, is gratitude! The following passage comes from the Gospel of Matthew in the Holy Scriptures, and it has mystified, confused, and been misunderstoodby many people over the centuries.I committed to the practice and did it first thing every single morning with the exception of one. That day, I had no choice but to do the practice in the afternoon and I made sure I did it that day as by noon time, I was already feeling a difference in how the day was going and I was only on day 7. I knew I didn't want to miss a day, I fully committed myself and as I said, it's not a long practice at all, you just need to DO IT. If you see one of your material desires in the market, or road (car, house, dress), say thank You for receiving. From the list, select 3 things to focus on today. Imagine one at a time, and think it to be done very nicely, and you are giving massive thanks. Spend at least 1 minute on each item. However, this author managed to write an entire book on this seemingly simple word. It does get repetitive after a few chapters as it explores the same value over and over again while reiterating its importance. Its written as a 'guidebook' in which over 28 days of practising gratitude can change your life. Well, it seemed rather absurd as i was reading it. It appears to be more of self-denial from my point of view. Today, anywhere, anytime, take 100 steps, and with each step (foot touching the ground) say ‘Thank You’. It is important to see how you felt before & after these footsteps. Use this where you feel mood is down. You will feel much better.
