My daughters received this for their 1st Birthday and have liked it since they first layed eyes on it. I'll explain the FUN features after I explain the DANGER. Paddy 1 Alphabet Train Bright, colourful and easy for small hands to grasp. Easily washed to keep clean and safe to play with. for the toy tilting over and unable to use as walker. Show me one walking toy that won't tilt. If your child just learns to stand up on his/her own and walk on his/her own it's our parents duty to supervise their every step and not just throw toys at them and get mad that kid tilts over with the toy.

If you are looking for a toy for a 1 year old, I would recommend getting something else. My girls do like this but they'll gladly skip this & go for their Fisher Price Laugh & Learn Home or Leapfrog Learning Table, they spend way more time playing with those. If you are looking for a Sit to Stand toy, I don't think this is sturdy enough, my girls can go from sitting to standing w/out a problem but if they hold onto this it will normally tip right over. They do like the walker part of the train and are almost walking but when the train is used as a walker it is NOT very stable/sturdy and this will tip/fall either left or right & so will my girls...they fall more with it than if they were trying to walk w/out anything. because there are too many lights and sounds. This toy is intended for young kids. Kids love bright colors, lights and sounds. If you are an adult that gets easily triggered by those things then for the safety of loved ones and people around you do not buy this toy. Yes, I have been annoyed by its sounds at times especially when you wanting a quiet time. I just have my kids play something quieter or turn off the sound for a while. It takes more space that I'd like but my both kids liked and little one still likes playing with it even with lights and sounds turned off. She puts her dolly on it and gives it a ride and teaches her dolly random letters. Cute :) Neilneil A standout present I bought this from my little godson, he’s forever, pulling things over so now he can pull this little train along and rebuild it as many times as he likes Just because some kids do not like or show interest in some toys does not make them intellectually advanced or superior to other kids and this toy does not deserve 1* 2* for that reason. Kids are miniature copies of adults, they have their own personality just like adults and choose their likes just like us adults.
