Parfum' has some of that modern fuzzy/mineral aroma in the late dry down too which can be divisive among fragrance enthusiasts (I like it). I don't really detect this 'bubblegum' that people have mentioned but it has a modern edge for sure. Director Christopher Hewitt is the mastermind behind this new ad campaign, giving it an incredibly modern feel with his highly graphic visual approach. To be fair, Drakkar Essence came much before this but the similarities are very apparent especially in the top and mid notes. In he dry down, where Drakkar Essence continues on the lighter aromatic path, Chrome Parfum takes on a more darker note thanks to the Fir Resin and I feel this makes it perfect for summer evenings.

Chrome Parfum lasts a good time on me in this stage and feels like something of a cousin of Acqua di Gio Profundo with a heavy injection of Invictus bubblegum-iness.
