Description

If you’re in the market for a good budget sleep system we recommend the standard Nash Sleep System, the Sonik SK-Tek System, or the Nash Dwarf System. A Final Word: Choosing the Best Bedchair for You The only downside is, of course, the limited wiggle room at the head and foot of the bed. If this is something you can live with, you’ll get on well with the Trakker Levelite system.

The Avid Benchmark Leveltech Sleep System is one of the best bedchairs for comfort. If you’re looking for an excellent balance between support, comfort, and weight, this is the one to have. Thanks for the heads up on the Trakker Oval. I used to have the old Fox 5 season sleeping bag which was tapered at the foot end and whilst excellent for warmth, it was a complete bitch to get in and out of (especially with size 12 feet). I've still got the old Trakker 5 season sleeping bag with the detachable fleece inner (which I'm giving my eldest with my Fox Recliner beg chair) and as it's not tapered like the mummy style sleeping bags it's probably the best sleeping bag I've ever had. This sleep system features a high-density mattress, a 6-leg frame, and a hollow-fibre luxury duvet with baffles. It’s safe to say that not only is the Scope bedchair portable, it’s extremely comfortable and suitable for all seasons.

Choosing a carp fishing bedchair doesn’t have to be difficult. Hopefully, if you’ve got this far, you’ll have a rough idea of what to look for in a bedchair/sleep system and have one in mind that suits you and your angling style.

Attachment points secure both sleeping bag and bedchair cover effectively to the bedchair base of the sleep system, holding you safe throughout the night, and giving you a comfortable way to rest and recharge before your bite alarms start sounding again. A full sleep system provides you with an all-in-one system that you can start doing nights in instantly. A bedchair alone is not a full system and will need a sleeping bag or fitted duvet to create a suitable sleep system. B) Can You Use a Bedchair Year-Round?The R-Series Camo Sleep System features a completely lay-flat frame. It’s also designed to be as rectangular as possible to offer the closest experience to a traditional mattress as possible. The frame has double hinges that allow the elastic to run through it equally to provide even tension — making for uniform firmness across the entirety of the bedchair. The Dwarf range is Nash’s answer for the angler who can’t quite afford the items in their more pricey Scope range. There are several products in this collection including rods, nets, and of course this bedchair. The ultimate in bankside luxury and comfort. The Solar SP Bedchair complete with Solar 4-season sleeping bag and waterproof, Rip-Stop bedchair cover to provide a complete sleep system. Thank. Definitely be looking at the Solar system then. Not too fussed about weight as no point carrying a lighter system if it gives you a crap night's sleep. I take it the 5 season sleeping bag is genuinely capable of winter use. I've got an old trakker fleeced cover (I used to use just this in the summer months) if it gets really bitter out there.

The Nash Scope Ops 4 Sleep System has been designed for the angler that wants to stay mobile. It has a four-fold design and comes with a heavy-duty carry strap to make carrying the system down the trails to forgotten swims easier. The light weight of this bedchair is thanks to the alloy magnesium frame construction. The six-leg frame that features two double legs in the middle section and one at each end of the bed helps cut down on weight while keeping the bedchair level and stable. This bedchair offers the best balance between comfort, support, and protection from the cold. That does come at a price though — both in cost and in weight. If you’re on the market for a new bedchair you may be looking for answers to a few different questions. There are a few things you should consider when purchasing a new bedchair/sleep system for your carp fishing. In this section, we’ll be outlining those… A) What’s the Difference Between a Bedchair & a Sleep System? Nash Scope Sleep System Avid Leveltech Bedchair I take it that your mate has the standard solar bedchair rather than the wide version. I'm pretty sure my trakker sleeping bag is the 365 (it's about 20 years old now so must be one of the original ones but boy is it comfy). I'll probably just get the bedchair then but will need to take my sleeping bag with me to make sure it fits on the solar before I buy it.

Again, if you’re looking for comfort, the Nash MF60 Indulgence Sleep System is a fantastic bedchair to look at. Nash has been making high-quality bedchairs for decades and they’re definitely leading the market. If your main concern is comfort and support but you also want a bedchair that’s not going to hinder your mobility, this Avid piece is a good choice. I just had to take a look at the Solar SP C-Tech Sleep System after so many people have said how good it is. As someone who is a terrible sleeper when on the bank, I was all ears and ready to give it a go! This is the big-boy version of the Solar SP sleep system with an extra 15cm width. It comprises the Solar SP Wide Bedchair complete with Solar 4-season sleeping bag and waterproof, Rip-Stop bedchair cover to provide a complete sleep system. The Dwarf sleep system features a thinner mattress and duvet than the Scope Ops bedchair but the quality is still superb. It’s actually slightly lighter than the Scope too, coming in at 11.8kg. The Dwarf definitely doesn’t have the same great build quality as the Scope Ops bedchair but at nearly half the price, you can’t complain. This is a durable all-in-one sleep system for the angler on a budget who wants to save space and weight on their barrow or boat. The ultimate in bankside luxury and comfort. The SP Bedchair complete with Solar 5-season sleeping bag and waterproof, Rip-Stop bedchair cover to provide a complete sleep system.
