Didi and Shay were friends who went on one last group trip abroad before they all went their separate ways for uni, etc. Moving into the best suite in her hotel sparks all kinds of rumors and sets off a chain of events that affects the whole town.

Didi and Shay may be of a similar age but they are both from different social circles and different walks of life. The plot has been mentioned in other reviews so instead I shall just say that I loved all of the characters in this novel.One thing that I look forward to every January is a new, cosy, heart-warming read from Mansell and I was eager to get stuck into this latest offering and be swept away into a world of romance. Having said all that, I feel good giving this book 5 stars, thank you Jill for another wonderful read.

Jill’s personal favourite amongst her novels is Three Amazing Things About You, which is about cystic fibrosis and organ donation; to her great delight, many people have joined the organ donor register as a direct result of reading this novel.If I am being honest, I think I requested this book because I was confusing the author with another one I have read. Fast forward thirteen years and we follow Didi and Shay as they navigate their lives, we learn what really happened thirteen years ago and discover whether they can overcome their obstacles. One specific sub plot is about how fragile life is and the author handled this subject with great care and even humor.
