Sooo... I already said at the beginning that I don't like this brand so much and I didn't like some of the fragrances tested so far. I don't like this fragrance very much either, but it's much better than fragrances like This is Him or Her. With its sweetish touch, it fits in with fragrances like those of Gaultier and many other mainstream fragrances and is accordingly like many of these fragrances also quite synthetic, which is here the biggest point of criticism, because it otherwise already smells nice with fragrances such as tonka bean, iris and vanilla. But at least this synthetics isn't really disturbing. Once again, and showing off its modernity, its rebellion and its progressive vision of society, the firm Zadig & Voltaire surprises us with a new perfume, a declaration of intent, an ode to freedom that reflects the essence of femininity modern, a woman who knows what she wants and does not give up until she gets it. The sweetness is too intense; the iris, too metallic, in the same line of Lancôme La Vie Est Belle; and the worst part, the powderyness of the musk-tonka combo is off the charts. Now, this is coming from someone who loves powdery scents. This is too much. It creates a dry, dense, chemical vibe that’s almost chalky. And this “chalk” impression is only reinforced by a bitter afternote from the iris and the fern. Oh, the fern. Like, you may think you like someone, but you could be wrong. As the fragrance smells sweet and powdery, it is more intended for going out, especially for younger people. And from the smell I would classify it at any time of the year, so it always goes, no matter if it's like now in summer, when you're sweating, or in winter, when you usually throw snowballs at perfumes (you have it VERDIENT!!!)! DWill teenage audiences walk out of "Mean Girls" determined to break with the culture of cliques, gossip and rules for popularity? Not a chance. That's built into high school, I think. But they may find it interesting that the geeks are more fun than the queen bees, that teachers have feelings, and that you'll be happier as yourself than as anybody else. I guess the message is, you have to live every day as if you might suddenly be hit by a school bus. Hey hey guys, welcome to a new fragrance commentary from me, Girls Can Say Anything by Zadig & Voltaire, a brand I don't really like, but I have to admit that this fragrance isn't soo bad here!

You're too little! You're too ugly! You're a joke! You have strange hair! You're ugly! Oops, I've already listed the last one, but it happened a couple of times, argh! And if you say your opinion yourself, then you are considered a rude son of a bitch, yes yes ... is sooo typical again, aaaargh what I did not have to suffer everything because of you crap ... uh ... because of you ladies! :DDDWHAT DOES IT SMELL LIKE? A combination of notes characterized by its warmth embraces our senses after the first spray of the essence. An outlet of iris and peony, accompanies the heart, exclusively formed by tonka bean. Finally, fern, vanilla, musk and amber give it that sensual and current touch so addictive.

voice-over] In the regular world, Halloween is when children dress up in costumes and beg for candy. In Girl World, Halloween is the one night a year when a girl can dress like a total slut and no other girls can say anything about it. Really, it annoys me to no end when companies attach a fragrance family name to something that doesn’t remotely fit in it… just because it sounds randomly trés chic, I suppose? Anyway, I digress. The perfume is introduced by top notes of peony and iris. Next a middle note of tonka bean fills the air. As this fades away, it divulges the base of vanilla and musk. The predominantly oriental tone here is filled with mystique and faraway lands. Travel-Size Bottle Ugly mini-PET bottle and cringy name aside¹, this scent has some serious issues for me. The combo of notes, although not groundbreaking², has a potential to be pleasing. Alas, their rendering here is way too heavy.
