The shelf life is quite short, after about 2 hours you can replenish it, at least with the big heat at the moment. Overall I think the aquatic note overpowers everything and it makes me super nauseous upon first spray, especially when applied to my skin. This is the smell of water lingering on a breeze as the sun breaks through clouds after a gentle rain, not petrichor or a barrel of rainwater.It stays rather wet in its development, but any aquatic tendencies become background soon after application, and as puplebird says, fruit and vegetables make their appearance early on, and that's about where the story ends. Needless to mention how hard it was to find every last drop of it online during the period it was out of all the shelves here in Europe. Quite quickly a little freshness is added, but for me it has nothing to do with the typical smell that reminds me of rain. It makes me suspect that the entire fragrance is made of chemicals, with nothing real like hay, orange blossom, or lotus.

Everything fine and dandy but this is discontinued and I cannot find anything to replace this with when it will all be gone. No need to go inside, no chill, just the heightened aroma of flowers and fruits and sprouting leaves. The saleswoman said that I shouldn't conjure anything up with rain and so on, because we have had exceptionally nice weather here in the north for just a few days. The aquatic character does not decay when the perfume disappears and blends pleasantly with the base notes. I generally like sweeter scents (don't hate me but one of my favourites is still Fantasy by Britney Spears) but this one made me think of being caught in summer rain and I was so curious. Unfortunately it mostly smells like one of those mountain springs types of laundry detergent or one of the Clean perfumes.As the scent develops on the skin, it reveals a transparent character reminiscent of tropical rain and white orchid, finally drying down to an ambery finish accented with teak wood, moss and musk.
