What have you been up to?” She pulled two bottles of water out of the refrigerator. When it took me longer than a second to answer, she spoke over me. It was something that I could always count on her for. “I can’t wait for you to meet my boyfriend, Peter. You are going to love him.” If you’ve not read Where Good Girls Go to Die- it’s the perfect encapsulation of all that I love about Holly’s romances. So much angst, passionate emotions, and a painful and heart touching journey to get to that HEA. Parker and Liv are also classic Holly Renee characters- they are WILDLY imperfect. They make mistakes…many. And mistakes that hurt each other. It brings a gritty realism to their connection. Emily smiled sweetly at me and gave me a little wave. A perfect little wave with her perfectly pink nails. I was such a bitch for judging her. She looked nice as could be, but she didn’t look right next to Parker.

I think my favorite part of the book is the opening chapter. We get a real and true glimpse of Livy and how she has been for the last few years. It’s hot and passionate and with so much feeling. I can feel her heart breaking second by second. With all of that this book had everything, I wanted in it. I loved the characters. They were real and flawed. Livy was just getting by and it hurt me to read her like this. That is what made me love them both. Parker was struggling as well. Parker was torn and so was Livy. I love love love, Brandon. His friendship with Livy and Staci was amazing. He was just a secondary character. Is it sad that I found myself rooting for him in this book? No, it isn’t becaue I am sure it was setting him up for future int his series. The friendship as well between Staci the ballbuster was awesome. She was great too and she told it like it was.I just want to read free stuff: The name says it all. Here you can go through the list of works on offer, and request a copy from the author. This was not what I expected. If I had known we were meeting people for dinner, I would have dressed better, or you know, not have come. Born and raised in East Tennesse, she is a married mom of two wild children. When she's not writing, you can find her reading, pretending to be a dragon for the hundredth time that day, being disgustingly in love with her husband, or chilling in the middle of the lake with her sunglasses and a float.

Is this all that you’ve been up to today?” He pushed my feet out of his way and sat down next to me. That was the thing about my mom. She needed a man in her life, but she never seemed to find one that could hold her attention for long. Or maybe it was the other way around. I didn’t really know. All I knew was that the constant influx of men tended to leave me and Mason to our own devices, and we preferred it that way. He winced and I knew he felt my pain without me having to say anything else. “Sorry. I tried to push her off as long as I could. I didn’t know she would drop by today.”It felt weird to be in his space. The whole house fit him so perfectly. My brother worked in construction, and you could see the craftsmanship in every aspect of his home. But it was also so easy to see that no one other than a bachelor lived there.

Parker was a very, very confused man, but we love him even more for it, he will have you frustrated, flustered, turned on and make you want to slap him, but more than anything you are truly wanting him to pull his head out of his rear and get the girl! I’ve been loving reading new books this way but also love rediscovering old favorites. This was one of my first Holly Renee books and is a long time favorite , and I really loved the audio- a great way to revisit this favorite. This is brother’s best friend (who is also engaged to another lady), LOADS of drama, years of miscommunication and heartache, and a secret relationship.Other supporting characters: Olivia’s brother, Parker’s friends, and other secondary characters who add depth and complexity to the story. Synopsis The table was silent when we first sat down, and I avoided looking at anyone except for my brother.

Once they get the design right (via Lucy) and the color and texture combo right, laundering money in high enough volumes to cover their increasing costs becomes a challenge. Getting actual criminals involved doesn’t work out especially well either.

I never really understood why people called it a hangover because I didn’t feel hungover. I felt like I was dying. I had heard many great things about WGGGTD, but with a never ending To Be Read list I just hadn't gotten to it. Well I seen it on my kindle & remembered all the hype about it, so I decided to give it a go. Safety. It’s mean to be. Shamed by guilt Parker believes this is his fate. He did the right thing, he knows it in his heart. Does Parker have the ability to pave the road of fate, of what was meant to be, or does he just believe deep down inside that he could never measure up to what he feels she deserves. Is it destiny or is it all just a lie? Sometimes the realization of what we think is best and truth are two totally different things. Sometimes letting go hurts more than holding on ~ and sometimes we realize that living with the consequences of our decisions, is not living at all. Where Good Girls Go to Die was beautifully written and told from both Parker and Liv’s point of view with past and current POV’s.
