There are so many configuration options with this case. Want your bottom fans to lay flat instead of an angle? You can change that. Our test setup focuses on four components small enough to fit into every chassis format. This allows us to compare the impact case size and cooling have on a modern system. Each of the four measured components is connected to a REED Instruments SD-947 Data Logging Thermometer with K-Type sensors that have been placed as closely as possible to the benchmarked areas of the CPU, GPU, M.2 SSD, and motherboard chipset. A fifth sensor is used to monitor the room temperature for an accurate delta T result. While the data provides us an accuracy of one decimal point, it is still dependent on human placement of the sensor as well as small variance in things like automatic disk activity in windows for example. The systems is air-gapped, so that no automatic software updates can trigger an unwanted workload on any of the components.

Che dire in tanti anni non avevo mai visto un case cosí completo dal punto di vista delle funzionalitá. The Phanteks NV7 PC case is a spectacular chassis for building a powerful gaming PC. Peak performance is easy to maintain, thanks to the extensive support for cooling hardware. The Phanteks NV7 can accommodate an astounding twelve fans, arranged around the motherboard tray. Three 120mm fans can be installed at the top, four 120mm fans on the side, three 120 or 140mm fans in the bottom, and two 120mm fans at the rear. Alternatively, these locations can also accommodate radiators including a 360mm at the top and on the side, a 240mm at the rear, with either a 280mm or 360mm at the bottom. For custom water-cooling solutions, the Phanteks NV7 can easily support dual 360mm radiators at the top and side, alongside a 240mm reservoir combo at the rear. Although if you prefer air cooling, the Phanteks NV7 has 185mm of clearance for a large tower cooler. Like most of Phanteks’ cases, the RGB is sprinkled here and there and never overwhelming, which I like. The case features an RGB strip that runs along the edge of the motherboard tray. According to Phanteks, the RGB in this chassis uses a new D-RGB controller, which offers dual-channel output. The RGB is very customizable, thanks to the four control buttons at the top of the chassis. However, because there are four buttons, control of the light show can be a bit convoluted.the lights on the case are easily controlled and look seamless, the only issue I have with the case is that with the cable management and HDD ports, its tough to get a chain from your PSU to the slots allotted for HDDs. SSDs are fine and NVmE's are obviously fine, so if you don't have a HDD then this point is moot. I am just an old man apparently. lol

With the new NV7, Phanteks has understood where things are headed with 600 W enthusiast-segment graphics cards, 300 W processors, and motherboards with enormous VRM heatsinks, and decided to craft a case that—with a little thoughtful design, gives you room for gigantic high-end graphics cards with plenty of room for their cabling; as many as four liquid-cooling radiators, large E-ATX motherboards, and plenty of room to spare for DIY liquid-cooling components such as pump-reservoirs and hard tubing. Jun 2nd 2023 Alphacool Presents Apex Stealth Metal Fans, Skeleton PC Case, and Water Cooling Solutions (31) Additionally, for RGB enthusiasts there is exceptional support for LED lighting. The Phanteks NV7 comes equipped with two RGB motherboard covers, that are adjustable depending on the size of your board. These covers hide unsightly cables and feature LED strips, for a beautiful framing effect around your motherboard. Furthermore, the Phanteks NV7 supports a wide range of RGB products, such as RGB fans and extra strip lights. Any Phanteks RGB products installed within the Phanteks NV7 can be easily controlled through the D-RGB controller. This new generation of D-RGB controller features the ability to connect RGB products to one of two channels and configure each channel individually, for unique combinations of lighting effects. Phanteks NV7 Full Tower Case Specifications: Dimensions (WxHxD) On the software side, the test setup includes Windows 10 Pro with Furmark and Prime95 both running at the same time to put the maximum load on both the processor and the graphics card. For the cases, the out-of-the-box fan setup is used, connected to the motherboard, with the board adjusting fan speed automatically. This puts the onus of noise and performance on the case manufacturers and motivates them to actually care about thermal performance instead of simply using active cooling as a marketing bulletin point. The Phanteks NV7 is an astounding foundation for building a gaming PC, due to its extensive support for a wide range of hardware. Within the motherboard compartment, you can install boards ranging from Mini-ITX to E-ATX. Furthermore, thanks to a GPU clearance of 450mm and 8 PCIe slots, you’ll be able to install even the latest GPUs such as the powerful NVIDIA 4090. What’s more, the Phanteks NV7 can accommodate high wattage power supplies, thanks to its 255mm of clearance within the PSU chamber. I am notorious for losing little screws, but it appears that Phanteks thought of this and with the case you get a bunch of spares. The GPU mounting kit is out of the way and study, I dont need it personally but for those with large cards its almost a must!
