In the battery meter it says the age of my battery is still at 0 but recently I don't get 900-1000 shots as promised but rather around 5xx shots per cycle, and once I saw my battery jumped from 65% to 40% overnight (yes I did turn off the camera). On checking the Meike grip, it certainly has the gasket around the contacts array, but doesn't around the battery compartment opening. Regularly check the battery level indicator on the camera's LCD screen to monitor the remaining power. Below you will find an overview of batteries and chargers compatible with your Nikon D750, memory cards that we recommend for your camera, cleaning products to keep your camera from getting dirty and lots more. I attached it to my D750, and just like the genuine MB-D16, the Meike unit has a small recess to hold the contacts rubber cover on the base of the camera.

You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. To open the battery compartment of the Nikon D750 camera, locate the battery door on the bottom of the camera body. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. I am always sceptical when it comes to unbranded/non-original accessories for my photo and video gear, however decided to give the EN-EL15 a go. If you're looking for people's recommendations, then look for a recommendation that includes at least 2-3 years of operating history with the battery because that's what it takes to find out if a battery will die a premature death or not.Slide the latch or open the door: Depending on the model, you may need to slide a latch to the side or push a button to open the door.

There may be a few second hand ones around as there was a free battery grip offer when people purchased the d750 so you could be lucky.

This type of battery is commonly used in Nikon cameras and provides a good balance between power and size. The unit arrived in a small cardboard “Meike” branded box and contained the DR750 Grip, EN-EL15 battery holder, AA battery holder and a nifty wireless remote (more on that later). What about reputable battery makers with a name to protect - I'm thinking here of Duracell and firms of that ilk. Additionally, it is recommended to fully charge the battery before use and carry a spare battery for extended shooting sessions. Whilst the Meike grip has a metal plate running the full length of the bottom (that the tripod screw is attached to), it's still embedded in engineering plastic.

It works fine on my original nikon MB-D16 battery grip (purchased second hand but brand new as was part of a nikon offer). Close the compartment: After inserting the battery, gently close the compartment door or slide the latch back into place. I can't say if the third party grips will work with AF-ON as I have nikon grip, you need someone with a third party one to confirm if it works. should therefore never be incinerated and should not be thrown into the household trash, but put into the recycling stream. An additional shutter release button, AE/AF lock button, multi selector, and main- and sub-command dials are all incorporated into the grip 's design to benefit more natural and intuitive handling. Not sure I'd want to carry the camera with a heavy lens attached fixed to the tripod socket via a black rapid sort of strap. I'll be getting a D750 in a couple of months (I've got a bit of cash coming my way, but not a word to the wife eh! we cannot be held responsible for delays caused by Royal mail, your local postal service or by International Customs inspections. These batteries do last for several hundred photos, and don't take more than a few hours to charge up.
