Product Information This Aurora SGU10 is specifically designed for special SGU10 lamps that prevent the interstation of standard inefficient GU10 halogen bulbs, therefore promoting the use of energy efficient lighting. I have a feeling also called GU10L1 with a dimple in the centre, the old Part L building regulations required so many lights to be of a type where you could not fit non energy saving bulbs, so we got bayonet caps with three lugs, and GU10 with dimple in centre, blame the government, in theory all LED GU10 bulbs should have the dimple idea was you could fit LED in non LED but not the reverse, but it seems most EU countries did not adopt the idea, so most manufacturers did not make bulbs with the dimple. It seems prudent then as these fail to swap the fitting with a standard GU10 fitting. Can anyone recommend one that would fit the hole left by this existing fitting?
