I wont follow it wholesale - but I will recommend this book and I will be reading it again I it has changed my life. If I wasn't sure about the meaning of a verse, I would see what Dyer's interpretation was, but this wasn't necessary on most verses. I'm still confused whether he wants Daoism, as derived from the text, to simply be what he thinks Buddhism is; whether he interprets everything along the lines of some all-religions-are-really-one-and-the-same-at-their-heart reasoning (he makes allusions that the Dao is really God, slips in references to Sufi poets, quotes from the Bible to back up his reasoning, etc. Wayne Dyer is a favourite of mine and autographed my hardback copy of this book in January when I was in Maui.
