Description

The Carbon Copy Analog Delay delivers rich, warm bucket-bridgade delay with up to 600ms of delay time and modulation. With almost double the amount of delay time on offer than the majority of analog delays on the market and a simple yet effective modulation switch, the MXR Carbon Copy Delay goes the extra mile. In addition, two internal trim pots offer user-adjustable width and rate control of the modulation for even more tonal options. The Carbon Copy Deluxe also has a subdivision control which means you can split the repeats into dotted 8th, 8th, 16th notes or even triplets.

Unlike most stomp boxes, this one has the power cord on the side which can interfere with the routing of the audio cables. Housed in the classic “Phase-90-size” casing, if you’ve had any experience with MXR pedals you’ll know that these things are as tough as they come. Built well and with an amazing sound, you really cannot go wrong with the MXR Carbon Copy M169 Analog Delay. This pedal has become the go-to standard for any player who wants a well-rounded, easy-to-use delay that sounds incredible. We don’t share your credit card details with third-party sellers, and we don’t sell your information to others. Additional features include an expression jack for external control of various functions, programmable presets, and more. Go from crisp bathroom slap echoes to epic, Gilmouresque delays with the MXR Carbon Copy Analog Delay.

The Carbon Copy Deluxe Analog Delay features extended delay time with tap tempo functionality, optional modulation, a switch to toggle between the warm sound of the original pedal and vibrant sound of the Bright version, and much more. Similar to the Vapor Trail by Seymour Duncan ( check out our review), you can control the depth and speed of the modulation, although you do need to remove the back plate to access the controls. In addition, the DM-2W has the ability to split the wet and dry signals and has expression pedal support for controlling delay time. Its rich bucket-brigade warmth, elegant simplicity, and healthy reserve of delay time have endeared it to guitar players around the world—weekend warriors and recording pros alike. With the "mod" button engaged the soundshape dives into a marvelous chorus/vibrato like mood, which I have on nearly everytime. The Tap Division feature, with an easy-to-read status display, gives you four different subdivisions: dotted 8ths, 8ths, triplets, and 16ths. It was worth the wait, as the Carbon Copy has become one of the best-selling delay pedals of all time, used by many famous guitarists including John Mayer and Dave Gilmour. One of the team will be in contact with a rough ETA but we will endeavour to have your new guitar with you as quickly as possible.
