When Milly and her friends are sorting Zoe’s stuff, they found a letter written by Zoe inviting them for a “Ghost-Lorette Party” – “It’s kind of like a bachelorette party but with more dares and a lot more stares”.

Lined with hornbeam hedge and wildflower-filled hedges, Jane Austen’s house was even more enchanting that Milly imagined.Even worse, she panics and, rather than come clean about their no-strings fling, she tells her parents that he's her boyfriend. Faux Beau is a hilarious, pee-your-pants romcom featuring a swoon-worthy self-proclaimed boy-toy, a mistaken identity, and a fantasy of a one-night-stand, which leads to a fake relationship that will make you fall in love. I think it could be fun to follow Jax’s siblings and Milly’s friends as they fall in love, but we’ll see. The main characters had incredible chemistry from the start and I fell in love with everyone else in this story.

I enjoyed getting to see glimpses of Daniel and Ian but really loved getting to know what was up with Ian’s over-the-top flirt of a twin brother and how/why he pestered Liam so much. Such a cute heartwarming story, I was hooked from the beginning that I finished the book in one sitting. But when he finds himself in a logistical nightmare heading up a snowboarding competition for his family’s lodge, he approaches her with a proposition.I mean, I was drawn by the concept and the characters had chemistry so I think that the overall mistake was the way that it was written. In terms of writing not bad, not juvenile and childish as you would see with self published authors.

First of all, the third person pov felt extremely forced and unnatural and the narrator was SO excessively bubbly throughout the whole book. But when he finds himself in a logistical nightmare heading up a snowboarding competition for his family's lodge, he approaches her with a proposition. mistaken identity, one night stand, friends to lovers, fake relationship rom com with a happily ever after. Things just couldn't be simple for the two and get complicated when her parents walk in on a shirtless Lucas.

He’s ready to climb out the window if necessary, when Milly introduces him as his twin brother, Lucas. I just find it upsetting that they have to make hard choices, I would just personally like it where everything works out for them. Jax isn’t looking for a plus-one in life, especially a too peppy, too sunshiny, hopeless romantic who wears Mr.

There’s a grief element as Milly processes her sisters death, there’s family drama as Jax figures out his place in his found family and there is plenty of sexy chemistry between the two. Jax isn’t looking for a plus-one in life, but when he finds himself in a logistical nightmare heading up a snowboarding competition for his family’s lodge, he approaches her with a proposition.Jax was cool and sweet and whatever, but…he would say things that were supposed to be cute or sexy and they really only were about half of the time. Jaxon thought Milly knew who she was talking to that day at the Ski Lodge, but well, that wasn’t the case. This ends in more of a HFN but I would love to hear if therapy makes a major difference for Aiden and how that impacts their relationship. This first book introduces us to the new town of Sierra Vista and the folks (and potential future couples) in addition to our main couple, Jax and Milly. I was so hooked from the start knowing this had a fake dating trope (which is one of my faves) and it did not disappoint!
