Dab the shoes with a clean towel to remove any excess moisture and leave it to air dry, avoiding direct sunlight or heaters. Once dry, apply a water and stain repellent spray on the shoe. Unlike the original series, both the 550 and 585 Classics have about 0.9mm of interior leather lining which adds comfort and keeps you warm. If after trying on the boots you find that they are a bit big but not enough to warrant dropping down a size, you can lift up the footbed of the boots and insert a thin insole underneath. This will give a snugger fit.

You should use a leather conditioner on your boots whenever they need them. If your boots are looking a little scuffed and worn, always remember to use a conditioner. Still, I slipped them on and thought, these are Ugg boots masquerading as something a little less frumpy, a little less embarrassing (for me).
