Description

The main characteristic of E11C is tonal balance, which is outstanding for a set of earphones costing that little. E10C was tonally balanced as well, but E11C has a more full-bodied and expressive presentation. The tuning is different in E11C: The bass has been increased, but in a soft way, without though sacrificing the mids and highs, so, the tonally balanced character of the set has been retained, but the presentation is more articulate. It’s also worth pointing out the sensitivity rating of 112dB is pretty high, meaning the SoundMagic E11C in-ears can deliver plenty of volume. It also means they’ll use less of your device’s power at average listening volume, which is a bonus. Verdict Like the E11Cs, the E80Cs are also now fully compatible with all smartphones (the C stands for ‘Compatibility’). Previous incarnations of the range (such as the E10S/ E50S) had a bulky switch that you toggled depending on whether you were using the in-line controls with an Android or Apple smartphone. But now the three-button remote does all the switching automatically, making them much less fussy to use.

SoundMAGIC E11C Review — Headfonics SoundMAGIC E11C Review — Headfonics

The product is returned in original condition (with brand’s/manufacturer's box, MRP tag intact, user Overall we love these headphones. The price is right, the sound is great and the build quality is second-to-none. What more could you want?" The separation and image are also pretty good, and the soundstage, although not huge is more than adequate. SoundMAGIC's award winning earphones get better and better with each revision. Now fitted with an anti-tangle twisted-pair high-fidelity audio cable, E10 is the perfect earphone for everyday use. Remaining incredible value for money, the E10 keeps on winning high praise from listeners worldwide.

About SoundMAGIC Headphones

Regardless, the SoundMagic E10C continue in this vein. However, I do quite like the use of metal earpieces. While they won’t stop the cable connection from deteriorating if not looked after, they’re far more likely to survive being trodden on than a cheap plastic earpiece. Isolation is average and I prefer wearing it over-ear to prevent microphonics or noise on the wire. The earphone has a large vent beneath and a small vent near the nozzle in front of the driver. There is no noticeable driver flex, unlike the E10. Much to my delight, the little molding and machining marks are present on this pair of IEM. Ergonomically designed sound tubes sit perfectly in the ear canal and stay in the ear comfortably without falling out. I later plugged the E11C to my Macbook and it actually sounds great out of it, with more body/ texture in the mids compared to phones and a more dynamic performance. There is also more air andan improved soundstage as there seems to be less roll-off on the treble.

I can recall the cables on the E10 feeling a bit fragile as well as having a very light build. The E11C has improved prominently on these two areas. It also has a nice color scheme and a sturdy build on the cable making the E11C look way more premium than the E10. Both the cable and molding feel strong and it doesn’t get tangled easily.

E11C Technical Specifications

The SoundMagic E10C include a remote of the type that we hope to see on all earphones before too long: a full three-button setup that doesn’t penalise Android handset owners.

On the Xiaomi Max 2, the E11C delivers a clear vocal presence without muchin the way of treble harshness. Instrumental separation and resolution are good for the price. However, the lower spectrum is a bit overwhelming for some music.

I have used- Sony e115 and mdr xb55ap , JBL T110, Sennheiser cx180 and Cx 2.00, Beyerdynamic Byron👌 Machined in one piece, the metal earphone body makes the E10C robust and ready for the rigours of everyday life, whatever you throw at them. Inside the sheath of the cord a twisted cable ensures strength and a tangle-free listening experience. They are no minor tweak. The SoundMagic E11C may look familiar, but the sound is radically different to the E10’s. Some of the relaxed smoothness has gone, but much better dynamics and mid-range definition make these earphones a clear league ahead of their predecessors. The brand has hit the market with affordable models including PL50, E50, and not to mention the extremely popular E10. The SoundMAGIC E11C sent in for an evaluation is the successor to the E10c with the same affordable price tag and a patented design. Key Differences The sound quality is excellent. The E11C is similar in sound to the SoundMAGIC E50 models. But the E11C has a little more mid and upper-bass warmth to it. To sum up, the bass is well controlled, The mids crystal and the treble super smooth. It’s suitable for all genres, but is outstanding when listening to vocals, acoustic recordings and music making use of “real” instruments. (Sorry techno, you still sound great too though!) Mic & Controls: 9/10

SoundMagic E11C vs E80C: which are the best budget earbuds? SoundMagic E11C vs E80C: which are the best budget earbuds?

Their formula is simple. The SoundMagic E10C have an extremely populist tone. They pile on some extra bass to achieve a full, rich sound, but also offer a wide soundstage and decent treble detail. You get big fun bass, but also enough high-end flavour to conclude, within two bars of music, that these earphones are easily worth their money. The E11C/E11 keeps the main features and design of the E10 and improves significantly on build quality and the cable design whilst keeping the price very affordable. Machined in one piece, the metal earphone body makes the E10 robust and ready for the rigours of everyday life, whatever you throw at them. These earphones are built to last. I’ve never been a huge fan of the SoundMagic E10 design. The coloured L/R earpiece parts; the “go faster” style stripes – they’re just not to my taste.

As a relatively cheap IEM, it is likely the E11C will be paired primarily with modest sources such as smartphones that generally features lower output. Some DAP pairings will also be included in the coming section as a side reference. The following impressions on the E11C sound quality are given after approximately 30+ hours of burn-in. iPhone/ Xiaomi Max 2 Pairing The most important part of the SoundMagic E10C hardware is the remote. It looks a familiar cylinder of aluminium, with the usual three buttons. However, it’s the first remote of its type I’ve used to offer full cross-platform support, working with iPhones and Android phones alike. There are a few niggles, though. These are still very much big bass earphones, and as such they can sound quite bulky.
