Essentially, hybrids combine the distance and forgiveness of a wood or driver and the height of an iron. If you’re wondering, the extra “pieces” are not clubs, they’re the stand bag (in all cases), and head covers (in varying numbers). The 14-piece set is somewhere in the middle, and we only recommend that you go for this one if you are certain that you will need the specific golf clubs that come with this set.

Although admittedly by the time you add a driver, wedge, putter and bag, you’ll still probably be a little over what you would pay for a brand new set of Strata clubs.
