Description

The series, written in a diary format, uses drawings, doodles, and comic strips to chronicle the daily life of its initially 14-year-old protagonist, Nikki Maxwell. [1] With a HUGE global fanbase, Dork Diaries is the perfect series for fans of Lottie Brooks, Diary of a Wimpy Kid and Tom Gates. Her parents won't allow dogs in the house so Nikki has to hide the pups at home and take them to school in secret ... but the dogs are a lot harder work than they look - and messier too! I wouldn’t have been a bit surprised if she’d completely made it up just to impress everyone, when she’s really being homeschooled. When the animal shelter Brandon volunteers at is too full to take a litter of abandoned puppies, Nikki decides to look after them until the shelter has more room. Simple. There's only one slight problem...her parents won't allow dogs in the house so Nikki has to hide them at home and take them to school in secret. But with seven puppies to hide, things are going to get messy...Is Nikki's plan going to end in a pawfully dorky disaster?

Bacle, Ariana. "Summits nabs rights to 'Dork Diaries' book series." Entertainment Weekly. Mar. 25, 2014 In March 2014, Summit Entertainment acquired the movie rights to the series. Karen Rosenfelt was reported to be in negotiations to produce. [13] [14] However, no news on the movie has been announced since. Nikki, I’m glad we’re hanging out again. I know you’ve been through a lot lately, but I hope everything is okay, he said shyly as he brushed his shaggy bangs out of his eyes. And now SHE’S playing the victim just because of a silly video someone sent around of her freaking out over a bug in her hair?! Yeah, right!

Okay, I’ve tried REALLY hard to be polite about all of this! But… SORRY!! I JUST CAN’T TAKE IT ANYMORE!! How to Dork Your Diary (October 8, 2011), presented as the third-and-half entry in the main series, is an activity book containing activities for the reader to write their own diary in the style of the books. It starts with the premise of Nikki losing her diary and then presenting her diary tips to make up for the loss. I also liked the part when she takes all 8 dogs to school and leaves them in Principal Winston's Room (since he has gone to some meeting outside school)... When she goes to collect them after school, she discovers the puppies running loose creating absolute chaos and an angry Principal right in the middle. LOL..... After reading this book I've been asking my mom to get me a pet dog haha And get this! She said her school has ATM machines in every hall, right next to drinking fountains that dispense seven different fruit-flavored waters. I’m supposed to meet Chloe, Zoey, and Brandon at the CupCakery in twenty minutes, and I STILL need to change into my favorite dress.

Hello Yellow - 80 Books to Help Children Nurture Good Mental Health and Support With Anxiety and Wellbeing - Today is the big science fair, and the students in biology who are entering the fair are setting it up in the gym. The remaining students can review for their chapter. Nikki still gets no text from Marcy. Just in case things take a turn for the worst, she thinks of an excuse generator. Chloe and Zoey left from the table near ours to go to the shop next door to get strawberry smoothies. Which meant Brandon and I were alone ! Marcus Marcus is a recurring character in the Dork Diaries series. He is the guitarist of Nikki's band, Actually, I'm Not Really Sure Yet. He appears in Dork Diaries: Tales From a Not-So Talented Pop Star and Dork Diaries: Tales From a Not-So Happy Heartbreaker. He appears to be a shy, nice, and thoughtful character in Dork Diaries and is also known as one of the smartest people in school along with Theodore L. Swagmire III. He also has a crush on Chloe Garcia, and the both of them went on a date at the Sweetheart Dance in Dork Diaries: Tales From a Not-So Happy Heartbreaker. As the girls approach the school office, Nikki contemplates on what would be happening. When they arrive, they find that the student assistant of the day is their friend Marcy. Marcy notices the cage and the girls think she had found about their plan very easily, but she believes their library book ploy. Nikki feels guilty about going through with this, but she has no choice. But Chloe suddenly spills the beans about the dogs. Since Marcy knows now, Nikki shows them to her and she gushes over them. If she gets caught helping them, she could be forced to clean up the wrestling team's uniforms. Nikki and Zoey decide that she doesn't have to do it, but Chloe plays the guilt card on her and she gives in. They're ready to go through with it, although Nikki deep down doesn't want to.
