I know this stuff happens in the world, but not in my little girls world and I just thing there should be some kind of guidance on her books as when I've googled it, a lot of her books seem to have dark and serious social issues as their main storyline. I was so shocked that it described a girl expecting a baby and being at school and having to make her excuses and eventually delivering the baby in an alleyway and putting the baby in a dustbin.

dustbin baby was one I never got round to reading but I can imagine that your daughter won't take what she's reading in the same way as you are.
