You can’t get closer to the heart of the City than our brasserie on Threadneedle Street. Funky yet relaxed, our brassiere is the place to gather for business meetings, brainstorming and so much more. Aunt is terrified of magic and the reasons for this are only fully explained toward the latter end of the book so I’ll not spoil the story by talking about the why of it all. And boys, we cannot forget about the boys! Thankfully there is no insta-love going on, just typical teenage hormones. Rowan's interests were my favorite because I believe she would date half the school if possible. The thought that went into the world building, and the manner in which magic worked was well d There was definitely a point in the story where I couldn't put the book down because I wanted to know how it would end and the ending did not disappoint. It all came together in a way I was not expecting and that felt resolved, but also left me eager to read more.
