although, having said all this rambling bullshit, i haven’t written a review of my own volition for so long. thank you to RK for writing something so alarmingly unhinged that my thumbs were just TWITCHING to unleash the dark thoughts inside my head. especially one of this vitriol passion. These two have got to get their communication skills to a better level and what better way to do that than to take her to a secluded cabin for weeks and reignite their fire for each other? kirill married the girl to gain his position because he is cunning like that. but the certificate to the marriage is either fake or there’s a due time for the marriage (the 6 months he mentioned) Vaughn, omg 🥲 First of all, I love this name, I JUST DO. and he was so cute like he had a little scene, but he was so adorable. I just want his book so badly! He's going to be Pakhan if he gets his book, so why tf won't Rina add him in the 2nd generation series 😭 PETITION FOR RINA TO WRITE ANOTHER 2ND GEN SERIES AND INCLUDE REMI/ARI, MAYA/ILYA, GARETH, AND VAUGHN and whoever that White mask is going to be!

the time jumps 😏. Sigh. I really wish RK didn’t do this so much 😏. It could’ve been angstier lol and we could’ve seen more of their relationship/tension/etc. But like I did in an earlier review, I will rate each part of the story separately to let you know which parts I enjoyed the most and the least. she truly never ceases to amaze me with each new release and i truly mean that in the most derogatory way possible. THE TWISTS. I can’t even- no spoilers, but even when I thought I’d had it all figured out, Rina threw me through more loops. We have plenty of action, but I also love how intimate and introspective this story is too. We’re set up for an epic battle of families, past clashing with the present, but the best part was watching Sasha and Kirill reinvent themselves, finding their new normal, being open in ways we’ve not yet gotten to explore. Their relationship really deepens in this now that so many barriers are removed, and I love how they find a genuine partnership and true trust. We get to see how steady they make each other and how they complete each other, the story more heart focused and character focused, and I loved that.

Kirill is not interested in anyone or anything during those two months, he is truly haunted and the thought of someone else never crosses his mind since he is adamant on finding her killer and later joining her in death. The journey for Sasha and Kirill has not been an easy one. Both broken and jaded, secrets, betrayal, anger and tensions have these two at a crossroads, both with their own agendas, but their love for one another is something that cant be denied or fought any longer.

the sweet moments 🥹. Matching Xmas sweaters? Oh LAWD 🫶❤️ lol. Kirill does whatever he can to keep his wife happy 🤣😅 I loved this trilogy with all my heart—it was perfection. Not only did I get to fall in love with the main couple, but the side characters were so loveable too. he didn’t even seem to like his own kid either. but all of it was written like i should find it funny. the humour was incredibly forced, the try-hard energy made me wince the whole time. I feel so empty 😭 What am I supposed to do with myself now that kirillsasha are done??! They have been fueling MY LIFE. How am I supposed to just leave them 😭 This trilogy is a wild ride and the ending is definitely the best part of it all. Just have patience and Rina will deliver everything you want , be it anything lmao. Again another thing I loved in this book was the cameos of the other mafia world characters by this author!! I will never tire of seeing Adrian and Damein again 🫠All that planning and instead of marrying her, Konsta married her that day instead and Kirill was named Pakhan. Everything was working out the way he wanted it, and instead of having Sasha be away for the original 6 months planned, he said 3 months would be enough now and he could have HIS WIFE finally at his side. Kirill’s heart and actions melt you. The cycle of abuse with his siblings comes to conclusion when we learn why Yulia is so awful. So much to love about all the characters including Maks and Anton ❤️
