It’s not some abstract “animalkind” that cries out. The creatures that groan and cry out for their resurrection are specific suffering people and specific animals. They cry out for their deliverance, not another’s. I believe this suggests that God may remake certain animals that lived on the old Earth. The innocent, selfless nature of animals binds us to them in a way we hardly ever experience with another human being. In Genesis 9, here is what God says to Noah after the flood: “The fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth and upon every bird of the heavens and upon all that creeps on the ground and all the fish of the sea. Into your hand they are delivered. Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you” (Genesis 9:2–3)

Although the Bible as it has come to us through numerous translations does not contain information concerning the immortality and station of animals, there are still some passages that remain bearing witness to the eternal nature of the animal world (Genesis 2:1, 4-5). As to whether our pets will be reunited with us, it is a matter of conjecture. As for men and women, the Lord has made it clear that marriages performed in the world, and not according to His law of the new and everlasting covenant,must come to an end when the covenanting parties are dead(Doctrine and Covenants 132:87-14) Hence the need for vicarious work for the dead. When we believe the good news of Jesus Christ who paid the price for our sins, to make us children of God, we can receive the Holy Spirit. He is God in us and God with us. Jesus Christ said it was better for us that He would not stay in physical form on earth, because if He left, the Holy Spirit would come, and He will not only be with us, but He will be inside of us. That may sound weird to some who read this, but it is true. We are all sinful, none of us is perfect. We know this. If anyone would say he or she is perfect and without sin, this person is very dishonest. We all have lied, been selfish, we have hurt other people, we have unclean thoughts and desires, we are humans! We are imperfect.
