I have never been more upset for a series to be finished, but also I’ve never been this happy. Every book in this series was pure perfection and the final one didn’t disappoint. Marcus, Ryland (love his name so much), and Theo are our H’s. Marcus is top dog, a bit obsessive, and has the prettiest eyes ever. Ryland is hard and closed off and Theo is our pretty boy that balances them out. I kind of love the idea. Fantasizing about book stalkers is weird but fortunately, nobody judges me to my face when I read about those. But the thing that goes with my fantasy is the toxic power balance I believe there should be between the stalker and the stalkee.

This book is good and dark. But I guess it gotta be dark when the three love interests are genuine stalkers. sweet obssession is not only romance. i liked the way the author wrote the plot of the book. we have a kinda of hunger games without the hunger part and more like rich people killing rich people and the winner will be richer. stupid things if you think about it but it was super crazy to read it. But see, the heroine's life is shit and that's what makes it so dark. It might have mafia undertones and talks about gang wars or whatever, what makes the story dark is Ayla herself. I'm not sure the ages were confirmed but I'm thinking early twenties, this unfortunately reminded me of college bully romances(no bullying took place in this book) in that these guys are mega rich, with mansions and the best cars, with no other adults around.....yet none of them went to work. They all claimed to work for their parents yet never actually went to work......just badasses with fast cars, safe houses, mansions and no responsibilities aside from probably one phone call that I rememberI will skim the end to just see what happens, but honestly I just don't care about these characters anymore. For having romance in this RH, I felt no romantic connection with Ayla with the other two guys besides Marcus, since she rarely hung out with the other two guys. Which doesn't happen here. The men have the upper hand all the time because the heroine is just too broken to get a reaction about anything else than disrespect. to conclude, ryland. nothing to say about him. joking. he was the less developed but i can already say he will be the one i will less care. he is that rude type of reverse harem guy that clearly doesn't know how to deal with his feelings so shows hate to the main character. (i kinda hate that) Here’s the thing, I’ve read well over 200 books this year, not all of them were great, but I was HIGHLY anticipating the final book of this series for SO long and it fell ridiculously flat for me.

Growing up, Callie Rose always wanted to become an author and this always makes her grateful that she is living her dream. Writing is something that she always loved to do and when she was in school, she would take any opportunity to take an assignment or project into a story. I've been in a reverse harem binge lately and I can say that most of the other books I've read haven't held much substance in terms of plot, side characters and the main characters. Rose loves to read angsty books but when it comes to TV comedies are her bread and butter. She loves reading reverse harem novels which she discovered several years ago and has never stopped reading them. I really liked this book. The RH factors that I love came more into play and the connection between Ayla and her men just continued to develop. I was also super invested and on the edge of my seat the entire time because I was so scared something was going to happen to my babies! The author does a really good job of making it where you don’t know what’s gonna happen next. Ayla goes to a club one night and for a brief moment she saw who we later learn is Marcus, she later goes outside and sees the beginning of a drive by shooting. Ayla steps in front of the shooter who was aiming at Marcus and his friends thereby saving his life. 2 years later that night has devastating consequences as Ayla lost part of her limb from the three bullets, she's working in a bar trying to save money for college.....until an attempted mugging up ends her world once again. Now Marcus and the guys step out of the shadows into Ayla's life...... But these men are not living ordinary lives and getting involved with them puts her in grave dangerAhhh! Just what I needed! It’s been awhile since I’ve had a chance to read Callie Rose and I’m glad I didn’t miss this one! I’m not writing this review to discourage anyone from reading this book because, let’s face it, if you’ve read the first two and don’t read the third.. you’re a monster. This review is honestly kind of me trying to sort out how/why I feel disappointed in the conclusion of this series. Also, maybe if I temper your expectations a little.. the book will turn out really great for you. o romance foi completamente deixado de lado para focar na parte do jogo/ da guerra que eu comentei na primeira review (aquela parte de jogos vorazes). agora a ayla faz parte da guerra, porque saiu querendo matar o povo lá. ô mulher burra. Here is my biggest issue with this book and why I didn’t like it more than three stars …Ayla focuses and lives to find the brother she was separated from for all these years. When she finally finds him, the indifference and impersonal relationship she ends up having with him is absolutely absurd. Given everything the men she is involved with do, have done, what she has done and the environment and situation her brother had it’s just plain old stupid and makes her nothing short of a hypocritical biatch. IMO the author f’d up going that route. This series looks promising! I devoured the last half of the book. The first half seemed a bit slow, but I think that's because I was a bit clueless to what was going on with the story and characters.

Ayla was raised in the foster care system and was raped by her foster father at the age of 15. This isn't really discussed in detail, but we know she tried to take her own life after that. Also, she may or may not have a younger brother. Ayla was 17 when she lost part of her right arm when she jumps in front of bullets meant for a stranger (at the time) named Marcus. As usual, I’m obsessed with the guys Callie writes. She’s a go to author for me when it comes to RH because I know I’ll fall in love with her characters. Still, she does say that the longer she has been writing the better she gets as she feels like she channels her character that she feels like she is in a movie watching them. The guys stayed their dominating selves, however I did love seeing them open up more to Ayla and confessing their feelings to her. Ayla became even MORE of a badass and watching her character progress throughout this series, especially with her disability, was beautiful.
