Kids TV legend Neil Buchanan has revealed some of Art Attack's deepest and darkest secrets - including where the famous 'Head' character is now and how gigantic pieces were constructed. Before Art Attack, Neil hosted the British version of the room-raiding game show Finders Keepers in 1991.

The CITV series, which aired between 1990 and 2007 was widely watched by the younger generations, inspiring after school consumers to get creative with materials they could find at home. Art Attack star Neil Buchanan is unrecognisable more than 30 years after the creative show made its TV debut. Neil, 66, hosted a whopping 19 series of Art Attack before it came to an end in 2007, after 17 years on ITV screens.I have seen lots of episodes that have been uploaded to YouTube that have views well into six figures, although unfortunately there have been no DVD releases. He first joined Marseilles back in 1976, with the group releasing four albums and six singles together.

To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. It was 25 minutes long (about ten minutes longer than a usual edition), and of course it was hosted by Neil Buchanan. He also used to make the odd 'joke' here and there; though it turns out, upon revisiting the programme after 20 years, that these 'jokes' are actually offensively shit. One of the best bits of the show was the Big Art Attack, where Neil would take various items and put them all together to create one big picture. com, the Sell on Etsy app, and the Etsy app, as well as the electricity that powers Etsy’s global offices and employees working remotely from home in the US.This amount includes seller specified domestic postage charges as well as applicable international postage, dispatch, and other fees. Some of the technologies we use are necessary for critical functions like security and site integrity, account authentication, security and privacy preferences, internal site usage and maintenance data, and to make the site work correctly for browsing and transactions. Doctor Who star Sophie Aldred also played Minnie Magic in the series, alongside characters including Daisy Dare and Cuthbert Lily. I decided to watch this as I was interested in how it all started and I presumed it would be very familiar to the version that started on CITV in 1990. During his time on the children's show, Neil was known for his clean shaven look and iconic red jumper that he always wore.

When the CITV series finished its original run in 2007, Neil took most of the set home with him, where it still lives on to this day. Turning off the personalised advertising setting won’t stop you from seeing Etsy ads, but it may make the ads you see less relevant or more repetitive. While Neil did not make a Big Art Attack on the day, he revealed that he is hoping to bring back the Art Attack gallery to display the work that children create on board their flights. There was also an impressive and ambitious big Art Attack in New York where the lights were turned on in a skyscraper to create a special image. In September 2020, a conspiracy theory claiming that Neil was the secretive UK street artist Banksy went viral. After 17 years on ITV, Neil became a household name and was known for being clean-shaven and wearing a red jumper. The show, which encouraged children to draw, paint and paper mache until their heart's content, was so popular it won a Bafta TV Award.

More than 15 years since Neil Buchanan last hosted Art Attack, he's back to inspire the next generation of creatives.

The rumour began to circulate in early September when a Twitter user suggested it was “rumoured” that Buchanan was in fact the person behind the artworks. Twitter was abuzz with a theory linking the two after a fan noticed that Banksy's art was popping up in locations where Neil had performed his music.
