While there haven’t been many scientific studies specifically on Vatika oil, there is research on a number of the herbs infused into this nutritious and hydrating oil. The research outlined above suggests that four commonly used herbs (amla, brahmi, hibiscus, and methi) are effective treatments for hair loss sufferers. In a study conducted in 2014, researchers extracted Nigella sativa seeds by methanolic extraction and tested it on Plasmodium yoelii infection to see its efficacy. It was found that N. sativa extract showed 94%, P< 0.05, which showed an excellent suppression compared with chloroquine, which is the drug of choice for Plasmodium yoelii infection treatment (methanolic extract of the drug led to 86%). The antimalarial activity was because of antioxidant effect from the extract on Plasmodium infected mice. The study was improved to see the antioxidative status in red blood cells, and hepatocytes of infected mice were seen [ 46, 47]. In addition to finding the ingredient in myriad hair products and treatments (see below for some of my recommendations), the ingredient is also available in supplement form. But both Williams and Gohara urge you to proceed with caution if you want to go down that route. “I don’t think it’s a great idea,” says Gohara. “The FDA doesn’t regulate certain supplements, so you don’t really know what’s in there.” And one thing we do know that’s in there—the thymoquinone mentioned above—is also an antihistamine, so “it’s not really innocuous. It does have potential medicinal properties and may not be right for everyone.” Moral of the story: Talk to your doctor before taking any OTC supplements.

This sweet, nutty flavored seed has been used in the Eastern tradition for thousands of years. Today, you can find it throughout the world. People infected with superbugs typically have longer hospital stays, require more complicated treatment and don’t recover as well. This oil has a combination of moisturizing and inflammation-fighting abilities. This makes it a fantastic choice for individuals looking to nourish and hydrate their scalp and hair. Apply this oil directly to your scalp one or two times per week. It’s best to do this after showering. Your scalp will then be at its cleanest and your hair follicles will be unclogged and ready for moisture absorption. VITAMIN BLEND A, E, F: Nourishes the scalp, helps in maintenance of hair from root to tip, and sets the foundation for maximum hair health. Once diluted, it can help with common skin concerns like acne and eczema thanks to its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Some people also find it helpful for psoriasis and rosacea.

Vatika oil is a combination of carrier oil and various herbs used in the Eastern tradition (Ayurveda). The most common carrier oils are coconut, almond, cactus, and olive. One of the better-known Eastern herbs, amla is revered for its anti-aging abilities and its many therapeutic uses.Firstly I’ll explain what exactly this oil is. Then I’ll share and discuss the findings from the scientific research. The oil base was olive. The first part of the study used four rabbits with various small bald patches. Sometimes referred to as methi, fenugreek is known scientifically for its antibacterial and antioxidant properties. Henna
