As with all video rentals, once you start playing a digital rental, you only have 48 hours to complete your watching. The management works very hard to make sure the community is running the best software, best designs, and all the other bells and whistles. For the week that ended on February 25th, Walt Disney Home Entertainment's Black Panther: Wakanda Forever remained on top of both the Blu-ray-only and overall packaged media charts in its third week.

This is a fine looking film, with incredibly strong detail (you can see the individual grains of sand in many of the ancient stone bricks in the temple, for example). When the villain shows up I knew it was the villain and it was a painfully long wait well into the second act before he revealed his true identity - that we already knew about because we saw the opening of the movie. compression-related issues here and there such as very mild banding and black crush on extremely deep shadows.However, the Intergang is still looking for the Crown of Sabbac, and the Justice Society must team up with Teth-Adam to stop the Intergang from obtaining the Crown. So when the film feels like it’s over, it has to reboot itself for a very rushed and unfulfilling third-act finale.

Premium Rentals / Purchases (also known as Home Premiere) offer films that were very recently available in cinemas, therefore the cost is higher than regular digital rentals. Most of my comments regarding the 4K disc's 2160p, HDR10-enhanced transfer in my review of that title apply here in more limited quantities. Having been freed from his earthly tomb, he is now ready to unleash his unique form of justice on the modern world. After years of waiting for the antihero’s arrival, the film is decent enough but it struggles to introduce a title character we can care about when the supporting heroes are often far more interesting. However, the wizards council tipped the balance of nature back into their favor by imbuing a champion with supernatural powers to fight for them by the name of Teth Adam (soon to be played by the Rock).

The discs are housed in a standard two-disc black case without being stacked with identical slipcover artwork. The Dolby Atmos track (found on both the Blu-ray and the 4K UHD disc) is a killer track, almost on par with the picture perfect image quality. I found this an active and engrossing mix that left my head a bit sore from me turning around too much.The worst part of the movie is simply that Black Adam is just another version of the Rock playing himself.
