When it comes to daily reflections, there are numerous different journals, guides, and books that offer you help through whatever journey you may be on. You can read all the manuals on prayer and listen to other people pray, but until you begin to pray yourself you will never understand prayer. I trust it today and hope it trusts me to make all effort to find the right thought or action today.

But we do have to soberly face the fact that being in the public eye is hazardous, especially for us. That moment of positive thinking will, in turn, influence positive emotions and ideally influence positive behavior throughout that day to aid in a r ecovery-focused lifestyle.A spiritual experience can be the realization that a life which once seemed empty and devoid of meaning is now joyous and full. As is common in psychology, working through your underlying mental health conditions requires a lot of mental work. It was as if I had, rather than a Midas touch which turned everything to gold, a magnifying mind that magnified whatever it focused on. When it comes to AA, daily reflections are meant to provide comfort and guidance during your sobriety journey. Post-traumatic growth begins with intentionally working to reframe your experience of addiction and remain focused on the reality while beginning to see hope in recovery and the positive aspects of your current circumstances. It is a day-to-day journey, so each day will provide you with a new quote or excerpt to reflect on for that day. Neither its General Service Conference, its Foundation Board,* nor the humblest group committee can issue a single directive to an A. One day at a time, I was able to get through the early days of recovery and into a successful life of sobriety. Sometimes slowly, sometimes quickly, and sometimes in ways we’d least expect, each of the pictures we’d drawn on that wall began to materialize and manifest.

We well know that this questioning individual will tell us six months or a year hence that he has found faith in God. It is said that if one chooses to pray to a rock with enough devotion, even that rock will come alive. The most important thing now is to reveal the inner temple of the soul with right thinking and right activity.A. will come to pass for them, as they have for me, if they seize the opportunity and embrace the program fully. I hope that all of my experiences have taught me something and that by sharing my life’s struggles and triumphs I might be able to continue to help others with a similar “dis-ease”, like I have. Positive psychology is a newer and complementary branch of psychology that works to heal a person by promoting and focusing on internal happiness. Daily Reflections can help both those beginning recovery and those who have been in recovery for a long time. I also attend an online AA meeting which uses as its subject the Daily Reflections reading for the day and find it easier to open my Kindle to the page being studied and shared upon often rather than trying to keep my place in the hard copy book I have.
