Once Ferrari Scuderia Red has reached its full dry-down, it can be summarized as a very soft, very low projection, woody, citrus, and green fragrance with very soft floral and spicy accords. This has quite an interesting past – Count Francesco Baracca, Italy’s legendary top World War I fighter ace, had one painted on the fuselage of his plane. Citrus and woody, it begins with fresh notes of orange, bergamot, green mint and verbena, harmoniously mixed with the green accord of petitgrain and galbanum, to move on to the floral sensations of jasmine, geranium and iris enhanced by nutmeg.

The dry down is nothing but a baby wipe smell with a small little hint of leather, and that might even be pushing it. If your rugged charm, and effortless demureness define you, then this men’s Scuderia Red EDT from Ferrari will definitely capture the essence well. I went to look for a casual good smelling clubbing sort of scent and accidentally stumbled on this one.

The scent of citrus is prominent and I can say that it is a citrus fragrance as it is mentioned by Fragrantica too.

The designer perfume bottles, which are, of course, decorated with the iconic prancing horse emblem, also deserve a mention. The fact that while only the wealthiest of people could afford a Ferrari sports car, the fragrance was far more affordable was really important here – but the people wearing it still feel special. you will have a nice, masculine, pretty appealing smell teasing your nose as people around you's noses. Off to the side is a grove of forest, probably the one where Merlin and Wart ran around as squirrels and got chased by those girl squirrels. Fragrance of the Philippe Roques nose, dynamic, fresh, youthful: the citrus opening notes of lime and lively pepper, a slight hint of mugwort.

Not to get anyone too excited, the Ferrari product is clearly synthetic and lacks the complexity of either of the two aforementioned classics. RECOMMENDATION: Ferrari Scuderia Red is very affordable, yet it has a very poor projection and longevity, a relatively pleasant scent but with such poor performance, below body sprays, very disappointing. The heart notes of Geranium, Jasmine and Nutmeg combine with base notes of Sandalwood, Cedarwood, Oakmoss and Musk to create an overwhelmingly fresh and revatilising fragrance. I wanted to get something new for spring/summer, so I decided on this one cause I heard good things about.
