The story got frustrating at times with the lack of communication between Theo and Blake but I’m guessing that was intentional. At first i kind of thought Theo was being annoying and he was being too much of an over protective big brother to Blake than her actual brother, but I quickly started to love his and Blake’s tit for tat relationship. College romances are often full of drama and intense emotion coupled with miscommunication or the total lack of it, misunderstandings, uncertainty and lacking in self-confidence.

I loved their connection with the push and pull, challenging each other, as they learned to trust and break down walls. But they were always secretly attracted to each other, or perhaps not so secretly in everyone else's eyes. Which would be a heck of a lot easier if Theo hadn't made it his mission to be my own personal chastity belt for the foreseeable future. If you love a wonderful long story with strong-minded characters, then this spectacular book is for you!Theo and Blake have known each other for year's as he is her brother's best friend but they don't see eye to eye and end up constantly at each other's throats. When a bet is made to see who can take Blake's v card first by his hockey team Theo is furious but then something happens that neither can come back from but will it make things between them even more complicated than they were before. Their relationship was far from perfection still i loved their bond, it was so strong since they both harbored their feelings from childhood . Sucked me right in from the beginning, I didn’t read Ash/ Colt’s story, Blakely is Colt’s sister and she transferred to his collage to study sports medicine and help the team.

I know college is the time to do crazy stuff and learn but she just really ruined my desire to keep reading this book. But the way she says at one point how “it’s always been his” makes me wonder if we really have progressed as a society. Blake was fresh and fun trying to find herself Theo was a brooding mess and Blake put him in his place which i definitely enjoyed seeing!Even if you don’t, this book is full of longing, unfulfilled promises and so much potential love and steam, that it’s a great book for everybody. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves to feel so connected to the characters that you feel everything they go through! There was even happy tears I can’t believe how he can be so clueless but know exactly what he needs to do to get the girl. When she's not chasing words for her next book, you will probably find her reading or, more likely, hanging out with her husband and playing with her three kiddos who love to drive her crazy.I definitely recommend this for everyone, but especially those who enjoy v-card romances, new adult romances, and college hockey romances. Blake has been in love with Theo for a long time but he only ever sees her as his best friend's sister so now at the same college as Theo she decides that she needs to move on with her life. Theo and Blakely have a history, a past that keeps on pulling them apart, until its miscommunication and some pretty dumb moves. I read “Don’t Let Me Fall” and had my issues with it and honestly, this is the same book, but with worse character development and the same storyline. What happens when you look back at your life and realize you had to give up something you love to be with the person you care about?
