Being made of carbon fiber, this guitar doesn’t require the extensive bracing on the inside that you’d find in a wood acoustic. I suspect this will make the instrument durable, as there’s less that could go wrong, or come unglued, in the future. I bought a Nova Go as a travel guitar, no regrets. The saddle was really tall as noted and the intonation was off, but a new compensated saddle, adjusted properly, fixed things right up. There's a spot on the fretboard where things are a little buzzy... if I raised the action up again a bit, that would probably go away. IOW, a Nova Go needs a setup like any other guitar. I would say that I strongly perfer it to the Go Guitar I let go a few years ago. The Go Guitar had slightly better tone, but the Nova Go beats it in all other aspects to my ears. The body has a one-piece construction. Even the saddle is molded in, as opposed to being its own separate piece. The overall length of the guitar is 35 inches with a scale length of 23.125 inches.Personally, I was fine with this, seeing as this is an instrument designed for travel. I think a lot of players will prefer simplicity over volume. 2. Quality and Aesthetics One great thing about an inexpensive instrument is that you won’t worry too much about it getting lost or damaged. This makes it a pleasure to bring along on trips, instead of something to worry about. Overall, this guitar offers excellent value for your money. Pros And Cons Pros: The one I have at home has the far nicer old case, which I think is better protection and simply looks way sleeker than the newer gig bag they offer now.

I have had a Nova Go SP1 for a week now, and played it a lot... mostly purely acoustic (without the effects). I really like it, it's so comfortable playing in the couch. I also recently bought a used Cort AD Mini OP which is about the same size, though a little deeper. Not sure which acoustic sound I prefer, they clearly sound different... can't say which one sound better. The previously mentioned zero fret design made for a smooth tuning experience. There’s also no need to worry about cutting or maintaining the correct slot depths in the nut. The nut width measures in at 1.625 inches. I found this narrow, but still adequate while making open chords at the first four frets. ElectronicsWe specially designed an exclusive EVA leather case, which can be closely fitted with NOVA GO. At the same time, the strap of the case can be used as the strap of NOVA GO. Old thread I know, curious if anyone has replaced the Zero fret? It seems to be softer material. Any issues to consider?

It’s hard for me to even think of some negatives. The action was too high for my liking, right out of the box. This can easily be adjusted through the saddle and truss rod. I strongly suspect, once you set the action, you’ll never need to adjust it again, like you would for an acoustic made with wood.
