Like most modern Creator Expert sets, the manual also contains tidbits of trivia about the Delorean peppered throughout the build, and I learned so many new things about the Deloreans in the movies. Universal, Amblin Entertainment and the Back to the Future filmmakers are delighted to have partnered with the LEGO team in the creation of this fantastic kit. Since this vehicle doesn’t clearly match any current LEGO minifigure scale, the “play value” of the hoverboard is somewhat limited, but it’s still a fun inclusion.The DeLorean consists of almost 1900 parts and comes with 2 exclusive minifigures, namely Marty McFly and Doc Brown. One feature that works perfectly is the switch to prove that where we’re going, we don’t need roads.

While one short-side of the box has the Back to the Future logo and a shot of the car from the back, the other side is strangely blank. Those changes are enough to make it clear of where on the time machine’s personal timeline you’re at, though. You can see some exclusive pictures of DeLorean prototypes as well as other possible solutions for the slope on our Facebook or Instagram feeds. The pile of parts here is shared between the three versions, so swapping between them isn’t quite as easy as it might be. With the LEGO set 10300 you can bring home what is probably the most iconic time machine in film history.The Krups 233 Coffee grinder also made an appearance in Alien (1979) and it's a major part of the look of the "2015" Time Machine upgrade.
