I'm not going to say more about it but the cause for this is something that I rarely see in this genre so I'm quite happy that the manhwa touched upon this issue. Princess Blanche as of yet does not have much personality to speak of; she’s merely there to be the object of the Queen’s obsessions.

Now in Abigail's body, Lily wishes to befriend her stepdaughter Blanche, a sweet girl and her latest muse. Rumors that King Sabrian rejected Queen Abigail’s hand during their dance practice have spread all throughout the nobility. Their differing behaviors and reactions toward the Queen demonstrate just how awful the original Abigail treated others while simultaneously providing fodder for comedy. That opening sequence with the mirror was hysterical and this whole chapter was a fantastic first look to show this family dynamic which doesn’t look like a good one.

Not-Sew-Wicked Stepmom follows our main character Abigail--who was reincarnated from another world into the body of the Evil Stepmother, and Blanche the beautiful princess "the fairest one of all". That's not to say that the story wasn't good but fashion doesn't really move me and gushing over cute girls sort of irks me nowadays. She decides to rectify this mistake by slowly earning the trust of the people in the palace, as well as doting on the daughter and convincing the male lead to follow suit.

So many times I would burst out laughing at Abigail's expressions and people thinking she was scheming some evil plan, when in actuality she is planning something to make Blanche, and her face just looks like that. All she wants to do is spoil her stepdaughter, but no matter what she does, everyone suspects she’s up to no good. While his give me and his daughter the cold shoulder he also is suspecting my extreme change of heart with suspicion.I knew from reading the light novel that Sabrian would come around and that I WOULD come to like him more, and that was very true in this volume! What would normally be the classic Snow White now has the main character stuck as the Queen villainess. I wish they'd spend more time doting on her than sidelining the title character for some meaningless drama surrounding the queen, king, and other minor characters. For now, she’s obsessing over the girl and showering her with gifts in a manner that screams daughter-complex.
